Surgical Masks & Hoods: Could we have a Hood option without the Surgical Mask?

I like the Shirt option for clothing that we were given instead of having Robes. In the spirit of that choice, I'm wondering if we could get Hoods, instead of Hoods with Surgical Masks. I realize alchemists deal with dirty strange plants, meats, and toxins, but sometimes I'd like to not wear a surgical mask. So I suppose this is a post to see if other people agree, and to offer my suggestion to ZoS

All of the high elf style light armor hoods have no face masks.

There are like 3 or 4 styles of hoods that don't have the mask.

It seems like all of the high level Hoods I run across put a surgical mask on my character. I'm fine with that being there, as it fits for some character styles, it just feels odd if you want a simple monk, priest, or even mage style.

Look here. There are quite a lot hood models without masks.

I think there are only a couple of styles that give the Hood a Ninja mask, most give you one without. I have a hood with the Mask on my Altmer Sorceror, but only because I chose to, I had plenty of non masked options (I have eight racial motifs on him, so I can craft a decent selection)

I have mask hood on my Nightblade but it have to do mostly for it fit with rogue style i play to bad the don't have medium version on it

The only light armor hood with a mask on is the Breton style level 26 and up. Try Altmer, Ayleid, Argonian, Daedric and Primal hoods.

Thank you for posting this. I've been using a lot of the uncrafted hood set pieces, and I kept getting the surgical mask on my characters. My main solution was to hide the mask, as the characters that have been wearing the hoody were not ninjas or doctors. It would seem that if I want the open hood style, I need to craft it myself. This information is very helpful guybrush.
