Hey guys, I thought i'd go ahead and post a list of the issues I currently have with PvP in Cyrodiil.
I am a DK so some the issues here reflect that. But feel free to add in any issues YOU guys have with the PvP system in Cyrodiil as well. Then after that I will add those issues to the list. I want others to participate because as I said, I am a DK so I do not have much knowledge about the issues some other classes may have.
1. Cyrodiil lag
2. Postern doors not working at times.
3. Keep doors not responding, but may if you swap weapons.
4. You should not be able to use a siege weapon if you are in it’s targeted aoe.
5. Siege weapons will sometimes be unresponsive if you place one, ultimately wasting it.
6. Streak. I’ll leave it at that.
7. Sometimes if you fall from the wall in a keep and you land outside against that wall, you can get stuck in the wall. There is only a certain spot, but I can recreate this issue at will (and by mistake

)
8. Stampede and other charge abilities will sometimes cause you to stay locked in that animation for about 20 seconds, without hitting anything. While this is happening you can still move around, but at the same time you are vulnerable to all incoming damage. To escape this, find something you can interact with like a resource.
9. Stacking shields, I won’t elaborate. You wanna know more then do some research on it.
10. The same applies for stacking set bonuses.
11. Seemingly constant crashing in Cyrodiil, no matter what settings are used. No add ons used either.
12. Trying to log in immediately after crashing can cause the loading screen to lock up, forcing you to quit the game yet again and try to login again.
13. Tent mechanics are cool, but you shouldn’t need to kill yourself to use one. I’m sure ZoS can figure out a way around this.
14. Do I really need to be on top of someone in order to see them in stealth mode (without magelight)? It seems like I need to be within 1 meter in order to spot them. How about 5 meters instead? Even if you yourself are in stealth mode and you are using magelight, you can still be spotted first before you spot the enemy. The system is wonky to say the least. Perhaps make the enemies’ opacity increase as you get closer?
15. Sorcerers seem to never run out of magicka. And if they do then they can just teleport away and refill it at the cost of stamina. The damage their spells do also are not appropriate for the minimal magicka they use. They have too much maneuverability and options, and not enough ways to counter it across all the other classes.
16. Fire ring spam. Yeah it’s related to #15 but honestly, either make it cost more magicka or deal considerably less damage.
17. Getting hit for 1050 damage by Funnel Health should not be possible. Normally i’m hit around 440 (already insane), but sometimes I get hit over 1000.
18. Vampires pump out way too much damage for minimal cost, especially vamp sorcerers. Yeah they are weak against fire, but this doesn’t even come close to balancing the issue.
19. Farming ultimate from spamming aoe is ridiculous. Cap the amount of ultimate that can be gained with a given attack, no matter how many players are there.
20. Block-casting. Just….. no. Except for abilities that use the shield as an offense of course.
21. Devouring Swarm doing nearly 1700 damage is ridiculous. As an aoe ultimate, that needs to be cut down at least by half.
22. Stop forcing DKs to go stick mode in order to survive more. It’s a tank class so don’t make it go the caster’s route. This makes the game seem more like Elder Sorcs Online, no matter what class you actually are.
23. Sharpened trait is broken.
24. So what’s the point of having Spell resistance maxed if your opponents can just as easily get maxed Spell penetration? The benefits of penetration need to be lowered considerably.
25. This goes for armor as well.
26. Why does it seem like Soul Assault will sometimes do barely any damage? No shields on the opponent, opponent has 3200 health, Soul Assault does 2960 for me. So why then do they seem to only lose 10% of their health. Even when not blocking at times. Still blocking shouldn’t reduce that damage so considerably. And if it does, their stamina should definitely take a beating for repelling so much damage.
27. Being stun locked by streak? At the same time taking 350+ damage? What? And don’t say you can just roll away or break free, because you can only do so maybe 4 times before you are out of stamina, while the streaker can cast perhaps 9 streaks. Not to mention streak away and replenish magicka within 5 seconds.
28. People seem to be able to block forever. Stamina needs to drop based on damage blocked.
29. Sometimes Stampede or Invasion can cause you to get stuck in a wall. If this happens, you are forced to do /stuck.
30. Sorry, but if a DK is stealth attacked by a NB, and the DK is heavy armored with nearly 3000 armor and 3400 health. That DK should not be killed before he can even break CC.
31. “You are currently engaged in combat.” UMMM no i’m not, let me ride my friggen horse.
32. The way postern doorways take damage needs to be fixed. If i’m attacking the door with a ballista, I expect to see damage done. I shouldn’t have to point to a certain part of the wall around the door in order to bust it down.
33. Scenario: Ballista is in place. Teammate comes along and puts an oil pot next to you to help repel invaders. Fair enough, but tell me why as soon as my ballista dies, I cannot place another one because that oil pot is too close? So what then, oil pots can be put near siege, but siege cannot be put near oil pots. wut…
34. Radiant Light should allow the caster to be resistant to Stealth attacks as well, not just allies. Isn’t the caster in the light too? Yes, yes he/she is.
35. My life bar seems to lie to me at times. I’ll appear to have enough health, let’s say I’ll have 75% remaining. It will stay that way for a while, then a flood of spell animations and/or attacks will overwhelm my character and i’ll be dead. But here’s the thing, the damage done to me at that moment wasn’t even close to the amount of health i appeared to have remaining.
36. Not a serious issue, but it would be helpful to see elemental resistances as a stat in the character window, much like spell resistance.
37. It would also be helpful to have your UI show your de-buffs as well as your buffs (without add-ons).
38. Sometimes I'll be blocking, but then the game will decide i shouldn't block anymore and so my shield drops... even though I never did let go of the block button.
39. It feels like roll-dodging in PvP decides to work whenever it feels like it. Why does it seem like I chain-roll dodge and i'm still hit by a ton of attacks?
40. Bow range should be increased, especially with particular skills:
Bow ranges are ridiculously short. Drain shot only works at about 2 meters, yet snipe is around 30. The AoE shots with bow can't even reach the ground when you're on a wall. What's with that? (All my bow skills are maxed so it's not a leveling issue.) I'll be on the 1st level of a keep and I might be able to shoot right at the base of the wall. That's it (depending on the keep). Some keeps you can get out to maybe 5 meters from the base. If I can snipe 30 meters from the wall I should be able to shoot any arrow out that far. Bows should have the largest range of any weapon or spell ability. It shouldn't be limited like it is for some shots and not others. I'd wouldn't mind a decreased damage at very large ranges, but being on a wall and not being able to rain arrows down and getting hit with mage spells from outside my bow range is just stupid.
41. Streak bug:
Let me add the streak bug, where you wont get teleported anymore until you relog. stun and damage still work, but you stay in place.
42. Immovable skill is lasting much longer than it should in some cases:
I love how everyone in pvp is apparently 24/7 "immovable" when its a 8 second skill time. Must be nice to somehow never be knocked down with a skill that needs to be cast every 8 seconds. Must be REALLY nice to have it working when stealth attacked in the middle of no where on a horse while you have been riding for more then 8 seconds as well.
43. Faction icons are not displaying properly from a distance:
1. Sometimes you need to be in melee range before the shield indicators appear above enemy players.
44. Horrible lag in large-scale battles:
Next thing is the lag, especially the input lag. I bet everyone knows that. You have to press a key like 3 or 4 times for a skill to fire or wait 1-2 seconds for your weapon to swap. Or ultimates that just wont go off, no matter what you do. Things like that cause death in pvp.
45. Vampire Mist Form exploit. Annoying and not the intended use for it.
46. It would help to see who is in your area and/or identify those around you without needing to hover over each person individually:
Lack of nameplates and guild tags make it needlessly annoying and difficult to organize groups efficiently, as well as make name recognition and guild pride nearly non-existent

47. Blazing Shield exploit... the way the skill mechanics works may need to be revised in order to counter the exploit that allows some players to store and deliver insane amounts of damage.
48. Depending on how you position a ballista, the projectile will sometimes bug out immediately and not hit anything. This is especially noticeable when trying to fire from over certain areas of a keep's wall.
49. Two enemies vs you. One is a Vampire. Vampire uses Feed on you and makes you helpless to do anything. You cannot roll-dodge, you cannot break free, you cannot do a friggen thing about it. And all you get to do is watch your character float in the air as the other enemy casts ability after ability on you until you die. Who in their right mind thought this was a good idea? Make it possible to escape Feed...
