Ok so once again I have to ask why zenimax lets crap like this go on. [SNIP] Current blue emp on chillrend dragonleaping off of terrain to mage gaurds and then running his craptastic "I don't know how to play so im just gonna suck the emp passive ***" build along a well coordinated and well defended keep. 7 times in 43 mins of siege at faregyl he did the same thing over and over and then when he almost dies he runs into a cubby hole and hides behind the box of everlasting protection and drops oils. I know this has been reported before and apparently someone at zenimax has the audacity to say this is working as intended. So just for clarification they want u to build light armor and a stick even though they programed these other options. they want everyone to be a dk and they want you to say screw siege just jump over the wall cause u know phsyics. and then they want u to slam ur face on the kb and impulse spam ur way to victory. This is a disappointing apex of a game that had so much potential. If this continues I know of at least one guild with about 265 active members that will be dropping subscriptions.

Sounds like you need to learn to play. I'm AD and have played against [snip] as emperor several times on multiple servers. He is a good player, deserving of emperor and capable of using the bonuses, unlike most of the scrubs who get emp. There are perfectly acceptable ways to stop what he is doing, figure them out.

first it was pull chaining people off of the walls, now its dragon leaping ONTO the walls? People are creative.

I don't approve of him doing the "hide in the cubby hole with oil" nonsense. I think that crap is lame.

but what I can say, if it IS a cheat of some kind, don't expect anything to be done.

I reported a player than spammed the crap out of mage mercenaries last week.

unsurprisingly, he is still on. ZOS would rather protect these people than deal with them.

Its not a "cheat" persay..there are areas where you can jump on a rock and the enemy doesn't even need to be close to the edge and you can leap right onto them. I think its terribly lame and I have never done it but i've seen other DKs do it..I guess they get a few free ap kills off the unsuspecting until enough guards take them out.

Ive started greeting them with oil pots as they land

I sincerely hope they don't nerf the ability for DKs to dragon leap. It is something that can only be used in select circumstances and can be countered, and it is - in my opinion - just something that makes the game more interesting and diverse. I have repeated over and over that the QQ on this forum is ridiculous and very seriously gets on my wick; it doesn't seem to get me anywhere though, so I will try a different tact, I guess. Please, please stop with the constant calls to nerf different skills simply because you die to it a few times. Take a step back, think about what has happened and how you can avoid dying to it again in the future, or how it can be countered. Everything can be countered in this game, in some form or another - even some the exploits (a la Blazing Shield).

If everyone continues to cry about certain abilities and skills because they die to it often, because other players have started to learn how to use those skills effectively, they will get nerfed into the ground. This will absolutely destroy the game. There will be no variety, no diversity, no flavour. It will become boring and it will become boring fast. I like it when you have to think about a few brave DKs dragon leaping onto walls. If they don't have the right support from below they will die fast anyway. Please stop with all the QQ.

On that issue, has anybody ever tried to magnum-shot a leaping DK away from walls before he lands? Wouldn't it be funny if that would work and he then gets fall damage?

I probably couldn't stop laughing if I ever managed to do that...

News Flash: Next patch they are reworking some terrain around keeps and nerfing Dragon Leep / Chains in keeps. Stop complaining and wait a few more days.

In my opinion that is a nerf. If an ability is called 'take flight' I'm of the belief the user should be able to reach the top of a keep wall.

Even if they don't change anything about the skill and just make the walls higher or do something different to prevent jumping up the wall?
For me that's not a nerf of the skill, but that's just semantics.

I think it's a bad thing that it's possible.

And why can't Sorcerers teleport onto or through walls? Would be a similarly bad thing. It bypasses the whole sieging thing. A DK on a wall requires quite a few people to kill and those players can't defend the keep (by attacking enemy siege weapons). If 3-4 DKs suddenly leap onto the wall, the defenders have a really big problem. A problem the game designers obviously didn't think about (like they haven't thought about a lot of other things in their game).

I understand that it's fun thing to do for DKs, but seriously it simply shouldn't be possible.

Well, now we know who to blame for this. The biggest offender of chains made a public apology and expressed his regret for getting the skill busted for every DK in the game. I wonder if we can expect the same from all the big Dragon Leap offenders.
