Problem with stamina nightblades becoming more and more clear

Trying to start running trials and every group I join I get kicked from and the last word that is said to me is "Caster?". Getting really close to just uninstalling and going back to DDO.... even though I hit 1.1k dps I still can't get a group for it.

    You should remove nightblades from the title because its ANY Stamina Build having these issues.

    The problem is bud, Is we can hit 1k+ DPS with really good gear.... but we have issues sustaining it... and due to us using stamina as main resource... We cost the group more time and effort in heals because we have no stamina to block/dodge effectively.

    yeah but even if it is sustained I wont get in, I never run out of stamina, no matter how long the fight is my regen is higher than my output as long as I dont stand there blocking forever but I still can't get a group lol.

    Yeah using magicka while blocking is just another preference this game demonstrates for magicka.

    Join a decent guild we have a bow nb in ours who's awesome always gets well over 1k dps.

    Good thing is though.. there's almost no point in running trials because you can craft gear on par with dropped gear.

    Actually NB should be the best class to synergize with stam builds at the moment due to having a somewhat decent sustain in terms of siphoning attacks. The only other class to have a stam sustain are DKs with their green dragon blood.
    So the problem isn't with nb but rather stam builds themselves. And like lathbury said join a guild, looking in chat isn't the best way to look for trials group.

    Find different people to group with. I have seen Stamina Builds prosper but they aren't really Stamina Builds; they use 2-3 Stamina Abilities + Class Abilities and other Skill Lines as needed. They don't try to be like "Hey man, I am a Stamina Build dude..." but rather they happen to use Abilities that cost Stamina as part of their plan.

    (I have also noticed a tendency of "stamina builds" to use a lot of group buffs and support abilities which I like).

    They also perform well in all tasks, PVP, Dungeons, Trials, etc. Because they are good players.

    Stop grouping with elitist jerks, find a few guilds that do trials and pvp. You will probably be required to use Voice Chat software, and you will have a much better time finding a group and having fun with that group.

    Actually Templars have great Stamina regen thanks to Radiant Aura. Templars only have issue with magic regen (which is basically nonexistant.

    I just made a caster set as well as a stamina set so I can change mid trial, I get a good 200 dps under in caster but people still want me to go that....

    Block = Stamina, if you can not block the bosses heavy attack, you die and you have just wasted a rez and increased the timer for trials and pissed off 11 other players.

    Until block gets moved to use a different resource, stamina based build will never be wanted. They need to make a new resource that is used for block and roll only.

    We do take a few stamina users on trails, but they have to stand with the tank, so the templars know where to drop Blazing Spear. A player out of mana can still block, a player out of stamina is dead

    My NB has great Stam number and recovery, but uses magicka based stuff in between when necessary to give the Stam recovery time. Although I vary my attack and defensive moves just for fun, overall I'd say I need to use Majicka based stuff 25% of the time, max, to sustain my Stamina moves. and when i use the Magicka stuff it does damage so I'm not really compromising.

    Yes, STILL WAITING FOR GOOD STAM REGEN RESOURCE FOR IN AND OUT of COMBAT!

    **Thinkin that for sure whomever designed and implemented TESO to go forward WITHOUT stam regen compareable to magicka replenishment, hmm as in "...but we have issues SUSTAINING IT" most probably was NOT a female dev.

    Stop trying to join baddies doing trials, who need to min max so much else they fail. Unless you are in an heavy progression guild doing hard mode, there's absolutely NO reason to be so hideously picky.

    We have cleared trials fast, even with some guys below VR12, with free specs and even with "exotic" tanks. All you need is 4-6 NBs and you are set on autopilot to success.

    As always the motto is valid: stop playing harder, start playing better.

    If you fail, it's not specs fault. Non hard mode trials are an utter joke, there are veteran instance bosses who are harder to do in 4 than trials in 12.

    Again the problem is not the class or the build, it`s the MMO purists and Elitists who have been spending the last 10 years of their lives doing this the same way in every games they played .

    They are so used to doing things a certain way that they are unwilling to accept trying to do things in a different way.

    There are so many people complaining here on the forums that they get rejected from groups . Why don`t all those people simply get together and make their own groups .

    Unless they just want others to carry them to the finish line, i don`t see any reason why the rejects couldn`t simply get together and run trials together instead of coming here to complain that they are rejects.

    This ^. And to answer your question Draxuul: Because they won't finish the trial.

    Edit: And OP: I highly doubt your stamina build can sustain 1,1K DPS for bosses 2,3 and 4 of AA. If it does, do please post your build in Tamriel Foundry theorycrafting section & change the world.

    I welcome all you trial rejects to wonderful world of PVP. There nobody asks if you are using stamina or magicka build or what is you average DPS. Most of the time your faction is just happy to have you there. And it gets even better, opponents are different in every run, so no need to wait for another patch to add more content :smiley:
