I would love this too...but they have so much other *** to worry about right now. its gonna be awhile before we see holiday related content I think.

Sadly having other things to worry about has never stopped them from adding new content before.

Right..but that new content is rquired to keep people subbing and playing. Holiday content is fluff...it doesnt keep subs.

Actually I think you'll find the festival 'fluff' does indeed keep subs.
It brings something new to the game that ALL can enjoy not just the VR ranks.

Long periods like this where not much is added for the general gamer is what causes them to start looking into other games as they are bored of daily grinds, just to hit the VR ranks where....yup a whole new set of even worse grinds.

I say when that other game that closely resembles this one (in feel anyway) is launching their new Underwater expansion, ESO should be very busy trying to keep our gaze fixed here, not letting us wonder if we even have a Dev team anymore.

It doesn't have to be fluff, it could be very in depth if they wanted it to be. Holidays would def keep me subbed and playing! XD I would love that!

I guess since the entire continent is at war, these celebrations have taken back seat. I'd like to see some in the future though.

YES YES YES! Give this guy a freakin' AWARD! I've been calling for this too and it needs to happen. A good number of those holidays would simply grant discounts for the day...so its not like massive amounts of content and assets would have to be generated for each day. I'd love it if ESO had a UI calendar that displayed these, explained them, and then you got to see the celebrations in game.

It's no wonder everyone is permanently at war with each other in Tamriel. I don't think they have had a days holiday for celebrations......ever...

That's something I would love to see. Just an occasional break from the normal questing and war to have some different activities and games to play for a week or two. Perhaps win or earn a few festival themed foods, pets, or gear.

I would love to see lore friendly holidays put in. To simplify things, instead of modifying each zone to reflect the holiday, there could be a single zone dedicated to them. I had an idea for a festival zone here: http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/discussion/99465/kvatch-future-festival-zone

A nice thread about something to possibly add to the game, no flames or demands just an idea and what do we get?

A post from a Dev saying something like "Oh that's a pretty good idea, i'll defo bring that up in the next team briefing. No promises though"

It's called communication....something we lack seriously in this game and forums. Only time they ever say anything is either to rap you on the knuckles or post some RL event/item to buy.

As has been said many times before, "Forums stagnate and turn toxic when the only ones talking are the players".

Update us once in a while, just let us know what your doing. We don't want to know everything about everything before it's released but a "man that was a tough day designing that new monster art" once in a while to encourage positive forum talk wouldn't hurt would it??

Well WoW have holidays/festivals since there start and honest i have always look forward to there Xmas festival/holiday every year as long as i was play that game but 2 last year i play WoW most of there festivals was get boring mostly for the hard got update but if ZoS can keep those holidays/festivals update not every year but more the Blizzard have been i think that will keep people happy and also keep some sub around as well

The problem Blizzard have with there holidays/festivals is when people have complete there holidays/festivals achievements most people have stop do them which mean that people don't care anymore.

Love the idea. Would be even nicer if some of the holidays were regional only (or not. Could totally ignore that bit). Maybe even a few costumes to go with?

I don't expect it to be here any time soon, but I would LOVE this game if it was implemented.
