Any others who no longer play but still read forums everyday?

I quit ESO after the first month or two it was out after becoming one of the first vampires and even a person in my guild reached first veteran10 vampire in around early access. I feel like I rushed the game and regret it. I still have paid time for PC but really looking forward to ps4 release to play on my 80 inch Tv and to take my time this launch in december or even middle of 2015. Sorry for the rambling, and just wondering how many others read the forums / ESO news drooling over the crime system and spellcrafting. I honestly believe if world pvp/bounty system from the crime system does well along with spellcrafting this game will be among the best MMO's of all time. I have hope that ZoS will bring back tons of players that quit for now. I am looking forward to the future of ESO and will keep paying my sub to support ZoS even though I personally am not in the world of Tamriel.

I took a break from the game a few weeks after launch, but I still frequented the forums. It wasn't down to the game mechanics though, it was simply because I didn't have enough time to play.

Now I'm back in full swing; on the game and here on the forums. I did however frequent some FFXI forums way back when, for more than two years after I'd left the game.

Sometimes it's not the game that you miss, but the community, believe it or not.

Oh wow, Pseudonym. It has been a while. I remember you from bethesda forums before game launched. It is nice to see a veteran, haha. I was Vladimir Cristo on old forums .

I keep coming here to see some kind of f2p announcement or some kind of major overhaul update like ff14 got, without one of those 2 I'll never play this game again...

FTP? It IS FTP! As in, you are Free To Play anytime you chose!

(Of course, there may be a subscription fee involved...)

I think people who want FTP just can't grasp the pros of a sub and in the long run you save hundreds of dollars, sometimes even thousands. I see people complain all the time yet they drop 60 dollars a month on new games that never change or update. If ESO ever went FTP I probably would quit for good and so would 50% or more of the current players i assume.

Actually Dagoth someone did a poll and I think it was 85% said they would quit.

I still sub and if I have to unsubscribe I will keep checking the forums. I lost my job and only have enough money for one more month sub. I do still check FF14 to see if they are ever gonna make it like they said they were going to and make it a fixed version of 1.0. But so far no they are still happy with being a generic gear grind.

Polls around here are like used car salesmen. They only tell you what you want to hear and you can't trust them.

On topic, while anyone can read the forum, subscription or not, apparently people who had forum access from the beta have a perpetual free pass to the forums. I am seeing quite a few people who do not play, and sound like they do not have a subscription, swinging by to ... uh ... voice their opinion.
