Fighting as a healer ( Youtube videos)

Hey guys !

Lately i've been uploading ESO vids to youtube and so far i have 9 vids and many more to come .

But to makes things clear, i'm not here to advertise my channel. I don't make any money with youtube. I don't really care if people watch my vids or not . I'm simply letting fellow ESO players know that the vids are there .

I know when i'm at work and i'm doing the overnight shift and i have absolutly nothing to do and i'm bored as hell , i'm glad that people are uploading ESO vids on youtube for me to watch and help pass the time.

So as the title of this discussion says, my vids are mostly of my Templar healer's fights. I've soloed pretty much every world boss that i came across , i've also soloed a Dark Anchor of my own lvl . Basicaly, i try and capture my character's best moments and then compile them into videos and upload them to youtube.

Now if any of you think that healers are boring to play or that playing a healer means you'll be forced to group with others all the time , think again. Healers are absolutly badass. Being able to heal yourself gives you a huge edge over any other builds and you'll see what i mean if you watch my vids.

Also , i've recently acquired an HD PVR 2 game capture card . No more dealing with Fraps bull *** . Now i'll even be able to capture my group dungeon runs and i most certainly plan to upload those on my channel as soon as i run another dungeon.

Thank you! I personally like watching the way others use their builds and skills to defeat enemies and appreciate the time you took to make the videos. yeah i just watched the video you linked , let`s just say this is not the kind of build i would enjoy playing . He was invincible , and his main attack was an AoE.

I will never judge another person`s personnal tastes though, i`m just saying that build would`ve been boring to play for me because of the huge lack of challenge.

Though i have to give him kudos for figuring out a way to turn himself into a god lol.

I think my build is powerful but not enough to consider myself a god, i still have to dodge damage and heal myself a lot and i saccrificed a lot of DPS for my magicka regen and powerful heals.

But as they say , to each his own

Nice videos! Do you have any PvP builds that we can look at? I am tired of getting owned with my Templar in PvP, he is not a DPS caster or melee type. I can no longer keep trying to make a DPS build with him so this Healer (FIGHTER) looks promising. Again any PvP builds?

Time to face the truth. The Templar is good at one thing, least so far in game, and that is support( So, while augmenting our true identity, support skills, and stop trying to out DPSing casters and EVERYONE else we might have a better chance in PvP.

And to reply to MrHemlocks, i`m sorry i have not been doing PvP yet, i`m still happy and sattisfied with only doing PvE at the moment so i`m not the best person to ask for advice when it comes to PvP i`m sorry.

And dont worry Surfinginhawaii, i don`t see this as a thread highjacking since you were trying to help answer Mrhemlocks`s question. Plus i can`t answer it for him since i haven`t done any PvP. So i`m glad you gave him something to look forward to.

And to answer your question, operating it is easy, but setting it up is a different story. I say, if shadowplay works well for you and you are sattisfied with it , stick to it .

I used Fraps a long time and with some games i barely feel the difference while using it but with ESO, fraps is very unstabble. Sometimes i start it and my FPS doesn`t drop too much and sometimes it drops down to like 12 FPS and sometimes even less.

That`s why i bought myself a capture card but it was hell to set it up and even now that it`s set up and working, it`s causing me other issues. Recording with it doesn`t really affect in game performance but i`ve had a few blue screens while trying to reboot my computer after using the capture card .

I`ve also had to disconnect it a few times and reconnect my computer directly to the monitor just to see what i was doing because the signal wasn`t getting through while it was connected to the card after a reboot.

Part of those problems are most likely caused by the fact that my computer is more than overdue for a complete format of the C: drive . But let`s just say that eversince i started using the capture card, the amount of problems have increased.

Though i gotta say that when i`m playing and recording, it works like a charm.
