Does the new 9th trait (Nirnhoned) mean that 9 trait crafted gear is coming?

So, as the title says, is 9 trait crafted gear coming with the new 9th trait?

If so, does anyone have any info on what those 9 trait sets will be? Any screenshots? I know that they won't be makeable for a long time (due to patch 1.4 not out yet and we need to actually find the trait and research it) but I'm still keen to see what (if any) new crafted sets are coming.

I doubt they'll make 9 trait crafted sets, if anything they'll wait till they release one or more traits. I can see 10/12 trait sets being a thing in the future.

Assuming the trait will be researchable and not just found randomly (like Ornate and Intricate), I would think that 9-trait sets will become a thing as well.

So we have to wait 50 or more days until the 9th trait in completed!? I already wait 25-26 days for the last trait on my heavy chest armor

It can only be positive for the economy to have dedicated set crafters.

Like you said , it will take a LONG time before anyone even get a chance at it.

If now it takes 25 days for the 8th , we should assume 50 days +- for the 9th.

It's okay to take a long time. As long as they are worth the investment.

Even capped at 30 days, the first few months will be great for crafters. They'll be able to sell unique wares and hopefully make a profit.

These kind of long term pkans are great for mmo longevity.
Just look at how well eve online is doing.

Btw , do this new lvl allow for another research item at time? Would be a bit better if we could go 4 at a time.

I don't think it's in the patch notes, at least I didn't see it there, but it's in the game on the PTS according to posters in this thread (I haven't checked it out myself, and I can't right now since I'm at work).

And no, three research at a time is still the limit even with a 4th point in the passives.

I feel your pain. I planned out EXACTLY how many skill points I would need to do all three major crafts, and then retired her from combat. Now I am 3 short, and don't have any combat skills to go grind them.

I will have to hire an escort to help me collect some skyshards I guess.

But, if they do this once, I'm sure they will add more in the future.

The sets that require eight traits are so underwhelming, the six trait sets are way better.
