Npc loading

Ive just started playing this and i have runned into many problems some are solved but one that no one seems to figure out is the Npcs not being visible for me. They just dont load until about 30min into the game or just never end up appearing but they can still hurt me if they attack.

I have this often enough to be annoying. It's usually a quest NPC that progresses a storyline that are invisible. Map and Compass show I am standing directly in front of them but there's nothing there. Logging out and back in makes the NPC visible.

My biggest problem is that I run without the compass, so while I know I'm "on course and close" for a turn-in/progression of a quest I can't find the NPC. After while I have to give up and turn my Compass (and quest tracker pins) back on to only find out I was in the correct place but the NPC was bugged-invisible. Great waste of time.

Basically just relog every 30 to 40 minutes while playing to ensure everything is spawned/visible. That's the only way I can play without going nuts attempting to find my quest objects.

Edit: for clarification I never had a "hostile" mob become invisible for me, though. Only quest/talk-to friendly NPC's (and almost always ones connected to a quest I am currently on) that are **mid-quest**.

They dont turn invisible they are just not visible to begin with, and its when i first log in so its not because i play alot.

I understand. The NPC's I refer to, also, don't "turn invisible" for me either. They are invisible (aka Don't Load into the world) when a quest triggers them to "be visible" (loaded).

So it's only similar to what you're experiencing and not exactly the same.

I really like this game and i hope its not the game but actually my computer cause then its easier to fix.

Well ZOS is probably going to tell you to disable all addons first and see if the problem is still there. If so then repair and try again with no addons. If they show up then try your addons. Hopefully everything will be working.

If some NPCs don't spwan / aren't visible type the command " /reloadui " and they should show up.

Doesn't work for me. I have to fully logout to Character Select.

I'd try a repair, but it's definitely on your end somewhere.

Do actual players load correctly? How about monsters?

To repair, click the setting icon in the New section of the launcher and choose repair.

Yeah it's either an addon and/or needs a repair. If you are using addons disable them first to see if it changes anything. If not you need to repair.

Thats the thing most thing that the support tells me to do just make things worse. But checking out guild wars 2 made me notice its a problem with my computewr cause it used to work fine but now is as bad as eso

Players load just fine its the npcs only, Ive sent my dxdiag report they said my computer is more than capable to run this game.
