The Little Things that Matter...

Hello fellow adventurers and (hopefully) ZOS team

In a world of huge hopes and requests, I've come here to talk about some little things that might not seem important for everyone but are a great part of the game (and what makes the game lasts longer in our minds and hearts!)
Those little things that matter...

So, before starting, I'd like to point out that this is by no means an absolute list and I'm well aware that some of these have already been mentioned before... I'm not here to argue about what is important or not, I just wanted to keep my little, personal list somewhere ZOS can see and (who knows?) act upon it if deemed worthy!

So, on with the little things that matter:

1. 'Shared' Weather
I'll start with a hot topic... but I'm not here to discuss how often it rains or not (lol). Please don't turn this thread into that. I just wanted to say that it's sometimes frustrating and really immersion-breaking that it can be sunny in our screens and raining like hell in our friends'. Yes, this happens because weather is client-side, but the 'weather state' could be a server-side thing (thus only the rendering of said effect being client-side)

2. 'Shared' Face Tracking
Ok, one of the cool little things already in ESO is the face tracking feature. It gives a lot of depth and realism to the game, adding to the immersion. For those that do not know, the 'face tracking' is the 'ability' our characters (and some NPCs) have to actually move their heads to look at others when the reticule is pointed at them. Just walk past a guard in any town and you'll see they glimpse at you while saying "Hail!". Or go to the bank and point at some players, you'll see your character will actually look at them. This, however, is client-side. Only you see that. Now, I know that implementing the 'face tracking' as a global thing would be chaotic (server-wise), that's why I suggest that, maybe, it could 'work' only on specific locations - like inside Inns and other 'roleplaying-friendly' environments. Just an idea? :pensive:

3. MOAR Emotes!
Yes, this is happening. I know. But it's never too late to reinforce the request! Emotes are an awesome way of expressing yourself - not only for RP'ers - but all the time. Sometimes you help someone with an enemy, or a dark anchor, and instead of typing people simply /cheer or /salute, et cetera... This IS communication, and giving it more flexibility is always a good thing. I feel there are many possible emotes not yet in the game, war cries and roars, more emotions, et cetera... Anyway, I'd still love to see a /harp ;)
EDIT: Oh, I'd love to see a 'sit' emote where we sit in a chair or something directly behind us (but without the chair) So we can use some of the furniture already in the game, like couches, benches and such! (Pretty much like the /leanback or /leanside emotes, which also depend on the scenery)

4. Different State Emotes!
Well, emotes are great... It would be awesome to use them under different circumstances, though. For example, why can't I /sitchair and /drink at the same time? We see some NPCs doing that (eating or drinking while sitting) so it *is* possible. It's just no possible for us - yet. What I propose is: some emotes should act as 'states' or 'stances', where we can use other emotes over them. For example, all the sitting emotes should be like that, and then we can do other (compatible) emotes while sitting like eating, drinking, playing lute or even laughing! (Oh, I'd love to do that while mounted on my horse too!)
EDIT: Oh, I forgot to say that... Something that would be really cool is to have the /torch emote stick to us even when you move, and just go away when we draw our weapons, roll or use /torch again... So we can actually dungeon delve with torches! (love that)

5. More 'Lively' Towns and Cities
Yes, I'm also aware how day/night cycles shouldn't hinder gameplay. It's true that it would be rather annoying (for most) if shops closed at night, for example... But there's a whole lot of NPCs and other people that are not 'as important' gameplay-wise - and these guys could use tweaking to make they feel more lively! All Elder Scrolls games have citizens with amazing daily routines that makes the game feel so better and immersive... Would it be cool to see some of that into ESO: Streets more empty at night, people inside houses go to bed, maybe some 'crowd' noise for markets and such... Alik'r cities have some beautiful open markets but they feel so bland sometimes... I'd love to see these more lively!

6. 'Military Flavouring'
I've made a post for this a little after the game was released... So some might have changed since then... I suggest some stuff that could be only for 'fluff' at first but also have some impact on gameplay... Anyway, the full post is here:

7. Werewolves (added on August 22nd)
Well, there are a lot of requests for buffs, balancing and improving of werewolves... Note here, though. The only thing I would like to see is: sprinting with our four legs! We are damn wolves, why are we running on two legs? :(

Well, these are all I can come up for now... I might add more over time :) feel free to suggest your own 'little' things too!
