How often does it rain for you?

I'll start with an apology for another RAIN poll. So, sorry!

Ignore my last poll and let it die please. I genuinely want to know approximately how often it rains for you. Why, is because it is almost always raining for me and I'd like to know if it's true for others.

Vote and please reply with the primary zone(s) you played over the last week.

I'm easily in the 91%+ range. I know some (most?) will think I'm crazy for making a poll about this but it seriously will not stop raining for me!

Currently playing two low level characters (25 and 10). I think if they put the whole weather system on the server side and just triggered/flagged it things would be better overall.

Zone: Deshaan, Shadowfen; Betnihk;

    Then let's swap computers and you will get all the rain you ever wanted. Hell!, I'm sure by the time I get to a desert it'll still be raining.

    The only way I can make it stop is to /camp and log back in and that's a cure for about 5 to 10 minutes. Once it starts, there's almost no chance it'll stop again.

    Edit: I am literally on the verge to start sending /bug reports if it rains for over two hours.

    I think it rains pretty often on the lower half of Auridon but I suppose I could be imagining things. Still, it's often enough that I think "not again". I'm on a Mac.

    I just want blizzards personally. Not in Alik'r obviously, but snow and blizzards in the appropriately places.

    Hurricanes and tornadoes would be awesome, but seem unlikely.

    It depends on where you are. It tends to rain a lot in Glenumbra and Stormhaven but not so much in Alik'r or Bangkorei. I honestly don't remember if it rains in Coldharbour. I haven't been there in months.

    I get it, you want a poll to prove weather sucks and should be removed or changed.

    I like it,the weather, it doesn't lag me, its an enjoyable effect.... but i dislike strongly loaded forum polls that are simply meant to validate the OP's opinion on things.

    I play all over the zones and I suspect that the rain quota is directly linked to the type of region you are in... i.e. Not sure I can ever remember it raining in Alik'r or in Stonefalls (except some ash fall) whereas Rivenspire or Shadowfen tend to get more... haven't seen it rain in in north Eastmarch because it snows instead. The jungle zones seem to get bursts of rain but rarely persisting for long.

    If you stop to think about it it's actually a sign of how much attention to detail they put into some of their world. It adds 'life' to the game.

    It'll never rain in Alik'r, even if it was raining when you left Stormhaven.

    You do realize that those zones you mentioned are rainy zones, jungles. Betnikh is just a forested island. Deshaan and Shadowfen definitely classify as jungle terrain. Shadowfen is a swampy jungle. Its fairly normal for those climates to rain. If you think back to Morrowind, it rained a lot in that game as well, and that's essentially where you are at. (Excluding Betnikh, which is more like an English climate)
