    Yeah, we're still celebrating, and also trying to figure out which made us happier, the first note of the sound of another DC emperor being crowned, or that the first note was immediately accompanied by a crash and roll back.

    Lol, you didn't get crowned. EP had BRK and AD took Roe. It crashed as AD capped Roe.

    Even if it didn't crash/rollback, the BRK cap was about 2 seconds slower than Roe's cap by AD.

    The crash was still detrimental to DC, though, in terms of claiming emperorship.

    We were capping BRK, AD flipped Roe a sec before the crash. After the rollback we couldn't get to BRK in time to take it and AD got to waltz into an empty, walls-down Roe to cap it. Wow, what more could DC ask for?

    That rollback was as beneficial to blue as smallpox was to the native-americans.
    The only substitute for victory is overkill.

    No EP took the lead several hours later when DC numbers finally dwindled to 2 bars and EP/AD locked and were on our scrolls.

    Some of us heard the emperor drums right as the crash happened, some didn't. Leads me to believe that AD flipped Roe and DC flipped BRK in some particular amount of time so close together it messed with Cyrodil's if-then coding and we ended up with our rollback.

    It had nothing to do with the code. It was the massive DC force that hit the flag on BRK. If you were at BRK the crashed happened immediately after DC rushed into the back flag room. I went to streak a couple times and nothing happened. 10 seconds later the server crashed. To everyone else in the zone they may of seen a flag flip before the crash, but to everyone at BRK we were all lagged out.
