Vet levels past Vet 12

Ok, me and my guild have been discussing the future changes on vet levels, and we are pretty sure what to expect after watching the quakecon video. Are they removing Vet levels? Are they stopping at Vet 12? or Are they increasing to Vet 15?. I know some people would say just wait to find out.but honestly i dont want to keep subscribing if i got to regear every month.. I know this is ALOT to ask for, but please no trolls . Just answers. Or understandings

1. Why would you have to regear every month? Hyperbole isn't your friend when you're trying to make a point.
2. Every MMO that has leveled content introduces new gear/levels as time goes on. So if you planned on never switching out your gear, this is not the genre for you.

You're asking a pointed question. If you only wanted to ask the question, you wouldn't have followed up with, "If the answer isn't to my liking, I'm taking my ball and going home."

No one is exactly sure of what the VR ranks will look like once the champion system is implemented. That's something ZO will tell us when they actually commit to a date for implementing the champion system.

However, that doesn't change the central point: if you don't want to have to change your gear on a semi-regular basis, MMOs aren't for you.

What difference does it make? Either choice involves you getting new gear as content is released.

If vet levels go up they will release new gear at the new level cap just like they have been doing? Why wouldn't they?

If the cut off vr levels however they do it, they will add season gear that gets better with each new season of gear. Mostly because they said they would.

Not sure if it will be every month or what who knows, but if you don't like the gear chase, im not sure what to tell you.

I don't mind as much new gear sets. It's more of my gear becoming obsolete if they jump it up a few levels. Making everything yellow takes some time. I understand that things change in MMO's and there is a gear climb. but i would like the satisfaction of upgrading everything yellow to last a little longer.. Than that. but maybe the above poster was correct in saying maybe MMOs arent for me. Maybe i'm looking for a regular RPG.

I just need to catch up with the updates to the point I can put some proper time into my crafting alt, so I hope there aren't any more vet levels coming out too soon

my speculation here:

What I got from the quakecon vid was that perhaps gear would not be determined by vet levels, since they were saying about seasonal items or something being only available at certain points however available to all levels or something like that...
To be honest it all left me a bit confused

I'd personally like to be able to upgrade a set of stuff to legendary quality without worrying about it becoming obsolete in the next patch, but who knows

what iv gathered from the little research that I did into this, the champion system will completely replace veteran ranks. level 50 will be the max level, and they are going towards the seasoned gear approach(I don't know what that means, I have little MMO experience) If this happens, I don't know what they will do with the high veteran level gear. its best for us to wait and see. though in my opinion, it will be good for the max level to be 50. that's a level everyone can reach in a fair amount of time. unlike VR12(save if you grind in grindlorn)
