Eyeeater's Eyeopening Insights pt 2
I'm back with more thoughts on the game.
1. Let me introduce the concept of practical pets! I've heard there's some unhappiness with people being stuck with cruddy mudcrabs when there's cool new dogs running around. There should be pet shops in the main cities. The principles of feeding your horse should apply to pets, and there should be a carrying feature (like pack guars). Also, pets should be more interactive in combat (ex: attacking the enemy even if they damage they do is very low.
2. For playing in groups, there should be a 'follow' or 'hop on the back of my horse' option. This is just practical for when I have to pee in the middle of playing.
3. Minions that are summoned (only for sorcerer I think?) on the weapon/ability switch bar should remain with you when you switch over bars until they die or are unsummoned. Toggle abilities should remain active when you switch between bars without having the same ability on both bars.
4. Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Harborage quests should be able to be grouped. Maybe only dual player? Or maybe with increased difficulty per added player?
5. Let me introduce another concept of practical loot! I think every wild animal killed should have its hide lootable. It makes no sense to kill 2 wolves and only pick up one hide. Did I just kill a skinless wolf? No. And what's up with crocodiles dropping staffs? Did they swallow it? Or is it just a magical crocodile?
Part 3 is coming.
