Since this move to the EU server things have deteriorated rapidly in performance, sadly.

Just been playing in The Rift and the weather decided change and rain. My FPS dropped from 76 to 21. Combat became virtually unresponsive so decided to farm some resources till the rain stopped.

Huge delays in response from pressing E to collect resource and then as I was running to my next resource I get kicked from the server with this message:

Error 318 (6:3:1253:2) You've been dropped from the server because you hit message rate limit. Please avoid excessive messaging (i.e. spamming)

I was only pressing my WASD keys to move around and I get this as my reward!

Can you do anything right? Move us back to the original servers till you fix all these EU server issues!

I have in the past got kicked with that particular error message when resource collecting. There was a thread, but I cannot find it, that speculated that constantly hitting the 'E' button was taken by the game to be spamming of messages.

It may not be the case but it is interesting that a few people have said this has happened to them whilst collecting resources.

Just type 'kicked from game for spamming' in the search bar and you'll see a few ideas as to what causes this.
