Account page thinks I'm using a different computer...EVERY TIME.

Haven't cleared any browsing data, and I always click the "remember me" option because I absolutely hate this, but every time I have to log in, the site thinks I'm using a different computer. I've never used any computer other than the one I'm using now.

I understand that security is important...but come on.

It's the same with having to enter my birthday every once in a while. It's like the servers think that I'm actually growing older by being born earlier or something. Most annoying.

It keeps me logged in all the time, perhaps some fiddling with the browser settings is in order (don't ask me!)

Many ISPs use dynamic IPs. They aren't "very" dynamic but they are a bit different each time or they rotate through a grouping. Does your IP change ever? If it does then that may be why.

kassandra hit it. Some internet providers don't give out static ips. You log on, you get an address. You log off, that address goes back on the list. You log in the next day and you get a different ip address. You didn't change your COMPUTER, but your computer changed its address because of your provider.

same problem... i have reported it to customer support many times but still there is no action.

It seems only to happen in the account page when I try to access it but not in the game.

It's not a dynamic IP issue. The Accounts page simply doesn't remember you like it should. My IP doesn't change unless I reset/cycle the router (which happens maybe once every 6 months).

I have no problems with the forums remembering me though.

Could be browser privacy settings. Do you auto-delete cookies? Some A/V or security program settings might also affect this.

No ones using a browser ?
I think the OP means game client login.

I have no idea then. My IP occasionally changes and when it does I get the looks like you are at a different computer message. I never have had any issue otherwise.
