Did the server move change anything?

The campaign was full last night in Cyrodiil so I could not make the jump and check. If you experienced any change, please post. Also add where do you play from.

    Unplayable at peak hours.

The only thing you can do is run around since skills take forever to activate.

It was awsome. AB Campaign was full and I had no ability lag at all. Not once in 3 hours. I am located in Sweden.

    Well done Zenimax.

Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.

Ping down from 130-200 to 20-30
Weapon swapping is noticeably faster and the game feels more responsive overall.

I had a great experience in PvE right after the server came online. Then some ability lag and death to invisible attacks started creeping up on me again, but it was never as bad as before. The controls were mostly responsive for me all evening, and that is a huge improvement.

Performance in-game is certainly very smooth, but since the server move I have had a couple of access code requests, and several times when logging in I have had to input the password multiple times before it was accepted. I'm in the UK.

    Dynamic ip´s......
I had to input the access code too, but only one time.
Same problem with my password though, actually i have had that problem after every major patch so far, always had to put in my password at least twice until it was recognized.

I played for 4 hours last night in Cyrodiil (UK based) in Auriel's Bow which filled pretty quickly and engaged in as many mass battles as I could find groups for.

I still experienced several patches of lag, skills not firing on occasion (ultimate fired about 50% of the time), lag on using the siege merchant (!) and having to wait several seconds to pass through a keep gate. There was also a mass kick from the server to a never ending loading screen - so had to crash out of the game.

On the positive, there were moments when the game played better in the mass battles, and as other's have found, weapon swap seemed a lot more responsive. Ultimate was possible, although not reliable.

So for me, it wasn't quite the dream experience but hopefully once they wiggle a few wires and implement a few do-dars then there may be hope?

It has seemed to make a slight improvment generally for me.

    but...

I was in The Rift VR6 zone earlier and there seems to be more lagspikes and rubberbanding than usual. It might have been just my ropey connection at the time though.

PvE performance is improved slightly for me, zoning times for instances, passing through doors etc, summoning the mount, harvesting (if only I could find some runestones in Grahtwood!), those sorts of things. They were never a problem before, but I realise they're all a tad quicker now.

Awesome how much better ESO runs now that the EU server is in Frankfurt - 10 ms ping.
PVP still needs some performance improvements for battles where many players fight on one spot, but if player numbers fighting in one location in PVP is not too high it runs pretty smoothly for me now. And PVE is without ability lag now, even weapon swapping is not subject to luck / randomness any more.

Server move effected PVE and PVP players ? Is the thread specific or not ?

Now it will be harder for EU players to ignore the fact that they have a poor isp and a poor pc.

So how does moving servers giving me more problems = bad isp or bad pc ?

HOW is a total crash of the server where everyone (EVERYone) is dumped back at the starter camps AND a progression roll back after a massive build up of lag that the whole map talks about, anything to do with my Haswell, 16GB, twin AMD 290X PC?

Honest question, as someone with a masters degree in computer science I'd love to hear what you have to say, how is my PC or internet connection anything to do with a server crashing (like it did again last night after the move and every night before it since I can remember) AND an actual rollback of the the servers database, ie if you had a scroll, you don't anymore.

My major problem in PvP was that my action registered pretty late on the enemy. Any improvement on this?

Most of the comments in /z last night where that it's not any better, sorry.

There is some improvement in some areas but it's clear to anyone that understands things like this that there is a database or a netcode issue and not really a ping issue.

As soon as a large group of people build up in a singe area there is an issue (and most often a server crash), simple ping problems can't explain that, if ping was the issue you'd see it randomly and at other times outside of big battles.

still lots of lag in zergball fights... remove AOE cap and ulti regen out of combat, they won't stand around crashing server then.
If your group is bigger than 6 members gain 75% damage reduction.

Write this on the back of your box and see how many sales you get!

You won't get any new PvP players until this archaic AoE crap is fixed.
I for one won't resub until:
    1.) You fix lag.
2.) You remove AOE caps we voted against.
3.) 12 months have passed (this is how long we've waited for you to 'get with it')[/b]

This, basically. Large group experiences at keeps etc. were worse than I've ever experienced on the US-hosted server - lag throughout the entire battle (I live in the UK, have a respectable internet connection and quite a beast of a PC). I've never struggled for such a long time before to actually swap weapons or pass through a door/gate or to actually hit someone else. And I was there when we got kicked and stuck on the perpetual loading screen.

It's bad enough being a melee in this ranged-biased pvp environment already without the additional lag challenge.

Lag is worse for me than US based server. Unplayable in PvP at the moment. Other people have same problem according to chat.

Perhaps responsiveness is a little...little bit better (therefore the game engine with its eternal loading of something is more of a bottleneck), but on top of usual glitches global lags when whole group and enemies as well stand still for a couple of seconds (occasionally resulting in disconnect or unending loading screen for some) appeared, which is something I did not experience while server was in the US. The server will need some tweaks.
