Vet Rank rewards after its removal/VR12 quest EXP conversion.

Does anyone know what will happen to the costumes once vet ranks have been replaced? Will these items be no longer obtainable or will you still receive them after reaching an amount of champion points?

As far as I know there's no info on this, but my guess would be you get them at xxx amount of champion points. Either that or they'll be gone forever. Either that or they'll one day appear as loyalty rewards for months subscribed one day in future when there's a loyalty program. Either that or they'll be sold in the cash shop.

I don't think the total removal of the ranks has been confirmed just a change in how XP gained instead of VP and how champion points will be awarded along the way.

It is hard to be sure as the plans were not laid out in full but no reason why VR ranks & champion points can't co-exist or why you still can't get the costumes.

Or... they could totally ditch VR and costumes would just be a rare for early players...

As stated above.
The ranks are remaining, all that is changing is the way you level up (XP instead of VP) and the champion system which basically adds a passive system (slight understatement, but essentially)

Since I am vet12 should I stop playing my character till this is rolled out? I no longer gain any vp, so any quest I complete would just be lost right?

There is no reason to stop playing your main. You are vet 12, so if the information I found is correct and I understand it correctly all vet ranks on that toon will be converted into Champ points. (unknown conversion rate.)

Idk if this means each toon on your account that has a vet rank is converted or a max of 12 points (if conversion rate is equal) is given to give everyone equal footing when this is released.

My concern is that if I complete a quest now for no vp or xp I will not be able to go back and complete it once the new system is in place and earn that xp for champion points.

Yea some confirmation if earning XP at VR12 is retroactive to when the Champion system is released would be nice. None of my friends/guildies are doing anything right now that is worth a significant chunk of XP because they're saving it for champion system. Would be very nice to get some closure on this.

I stop playing my VR12 NB except for crafting until I get an answer on this.
Parked a DK at VR1 awaiting VR changes, does my enchanting/alchemy.

Leveling a Templar right now, most fun that I have had in awhile in the game.

Yeah, I am also leveling a Templar and they rock! I think it is the biting jabs animation that makes the class, so aggressive. I think I am just going to park my vr characters until more information is available, or take a bit off until 1.3 is up and running.

OT but I find it the most annoying animation in the game, especially the sound coupled with the fact you end up spamming it if you decide to have it on your bar.
Rush in, jab, well that did feck all, jab again...eh.. jab again..throw javelin, run away and hit them with a fireball.

Seems likely. If I were you I'd play an alt for a while.
