Zenimax... DON'T Make Wrothgar as Linear as All the Other PvE

PLEASE don't make the new Wrothgar zone (watch the Quakecon Q&A if you don't know what this is) as linear an experience as all the other PvE content has been so far !
Yes, we appreciate there is a story to it and that's fine. But with pretty much ALL the other PvE story content it was do A then B then C... Even we you did give us a decision, the actual story path rarely moved from the set path of quest-givers laid out.

Give us a few choices ! Of course we need to get to the same destination(story ending) but let us choose if we want to help NPC A or NPC B before we end up at NPC C. Non-linear content is far more engaging in the long run and certainly makes any decision making far more thought worthy.

The new Imperial City and Wrothgar zones both sound fantastic and could very easily turn this 'great' game into a genre leading MMO !
Just remember linear = bad, non-linear = good ! ! !

This reminds me of playing during beta. There was this one quest in I think it was Alik'r. The quest was broken and so everyone thought you couldn't progress from that point because you weren't pointed in the next direction. However, if you just explored around, you could actually continue to do the main quest chain. You just had to find the quest givers yourself instead of being led along.

People think questing in ESO is linear when it only appears so because that's the easiest route to take. If you do a bit of exploring, there's quite a bit of questing you can do, out of order, if you want to.

Linear isn't necessarily bad, just as non-linear isn't necessarily good. Making a non-linear quest line that concludes in the same way no matter which choices you made makes said choices feel meaningless (think of Mass Effect 3), so I'd much rather have a linear quest line if it can only have one ending. However, if choices would effect the story, a few choices that would have impacts upon the quest line's ending would be interesting.
