Stamina changes in update 3?

Yep. I saw somewhere that stamina softcap increased so it is a buff.

They're increasing soft caps and changing around some set bonuses, but there are no specific stamina changes. So don't worry, stamina based abilities will still be worse off than magicka based ones.

Looking at the set changes, magicka/spell builds will be losing a lot of spell crit chance, while stamina/physical builds will be gaining a good bit of weapon crit chance.

So that's at least a small buff.

People started to QQ about losing spell crit so the devs changed it so that you can now get a higher spell crit than you could previously.......

It's a good thing that weapon crit is increasing, however it won't be enough to make stamina builds anywhere near as strong as magicka builds.

look on the PTS page....

there are literally tons of "dont change this set" and "refund my materials" on that forum...

the outrage being entirely due to the removal of spell crit on willows path and twilights embrace, which as of 1.3.1 has been put back in...

i dont think people really had a problem that set... it got a increase from almost nothing to 8% crit with just 3 peices... basically a net gain for people who have that set, and no change to the function.

i dont remember seeing or can find any angry topics about them boosting the trials sets at all. While it is true that the 1.3.1 changes in addition to the inital changes to the Wise mage set allow a higher spell crit via gear than before, Please do not twist my meaning. It seems you have taken my comment out of context to promote your own comment.

My post was entirely in response to the question posted by Ashysamurai about the forum topics outcrying the changes to 2 commonly used sets for mage playstyles. Simply my attempt to direct him to the posts in doubt.

Sadly, it does not look like a real fix for Stamina builds is coming anytime soon. They really need to get on this... it has been more than a month now since they acknowledged the problem.

Well this sucks. Didn't they say something about free respecs?
Might unsub for a while till they get these issues sorted out.
