So for a while now I've had the same re-occurring issue where I have had to repair the game installation every time I have wanted to play the game.

Edit: Issue returns regardless of anything I have tried...

However, I got sick of not being able to play the game without going through the wait of repairing the game installation that I went and played a couple of rounds of BF4.

Lo and behold, I come back wanting to play ESO as before, without a restart or anything and the damned launcher is happy to launch the game properly.

So no idea at all still as to what causes the issue.

So in thinking about the issue some more, is it possible that eso.exe when being executed via the launcher play button is not activating 3d mode on the graphics card?

Note: I have the integrated video disabled on my i5-2500 so can rule out that it is using the integrated video instead of the graphics card I have.

So every time I have the issue with not being able to play eso via the launcher play button or the eso.exe itself...

Instead of enduring a repair game installation, all I have to do is open up another 3d game.

Anybody have some insight as to what could be the cause? I am thinking it is not activating 3d mode on the dedicated graphics card in time.

Any insight or ideas would be good.
