Interrupted when reading notes for quests.

Dear Zos and @ZOS_GinaBruno‌ and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌
Would it be possible for you to look into the aspect of the game, where when we come across a note/book/piece of paper for a quest, click on it to read it, and then get attacked in the middle of that action, just to see that the note then is gone after we kill the opposing force.

I find it a bit annoying that the notes for quests simply disappear, or I am not able to interact with them after such a fight, if I didnt manage to read all of it before getting interrupted.
In some other games, notes like that is linked inside our journal when we have that particular quest still open, a solution like that would be wonderful, or at least let us read those papers for quests more than once.
We're born, we live, we die. And along the way, you do the best with whatever crap you step in :p

I'm stranded all alone in the gas station of love, And I have to use the self-service pumps <3

Post Hoc Ergo Proptor Hoc o:)

Motivation alone is not enough. If i had an idiot with me and i motivated him, then i will have a motivated idiot to do stuff :s

One hopes that the upcoming phasing changes for dungeon scaling allow for group instances to be solo instances, so that when you kill something it does not respawn. Those of us that like to explore dungeons for the lore need not have our immersion ruined with respawns preventing us from reading something, and do not want to wait till mages guild endgame for a massive library dump.

If it truly was a quest note needed to complete the quest, it does go into your quest items inventory to be read later and handed to the quest NPC, but indeed the little lore notes around do not, that would be a solution short of solo instances is to convert them to inventory notes.

sound stupid - but why dont u just clean up around the objective before u click it? :.

That isn't always an option in the shared world. Half the time you come upon a note, there is nothing around because someone killed it 3 minutes ago. It just spawns near you, when you had no idea anything was there.

For the OP, 9 times out of 10 if it is a note that actually disappears upon being read, check your quest items tab in your inventory. Most of them can be re-read there, but not in the journal. There are a few however, that don't do this.

If you completed the Mages guild questline you should be able to see the note in shalidor's library (ofc this isn't the most optimal way to do it).
Do you mind? I'm busy doing the fishstick, it's a very delicate state of mind.

This was an issue from early access for me. Playing an Elder Scrolls game I like to take my time and read books or notes related to quests. I found that sometimes I would wipe everything near me, start reading and before I finished the mobs would respawn and attack. It's pretty crap design.

I'm with you on this one. That has happened way too many times to me.

I was in quest dialog in Cyrodiil and killed by a player because Zenimax thinks it's funny to be interrupted.
