Steam Upgrade

I'm curious, and please do not respond until you have read the entire post so you understand the question (though I know many will without), but how many people would be willing to buy an upgrade to their existing ESO account if it meant being given access to the Steam community perks and a Wolfhound?

For better or worse, Zenimax is contractually obligated to only offer the Whiterun Wolfhound vanity pet to individuals who purchase the game through Steams current promotion. Zenimax cannot, in turn, offer this pet to veteran players who want the pet but cannot get it because they did not purchase the game through Steam without risking legal retribution from Steam. However, consider these two things.

1) While I did not, many players have already repurchased the game through the promotion with the hopes of being given access to the Steam community and the new vanity pet. This was done because they were not told that they would not be allowed to merge their current account and would have to create a completely new account if they wanted these perks.

2) Both Steam access and the vanity pet are offered as a perk for purchasing the game through Steam, not as a perk for purchasing the Imperial Edition. This means that veteran players like myself who purchased the Imperial Edition directly from Zenimax or through middle man parties like Amazon are not entitled to these items just because we paid more at an earlier time.

Would you, as a veteran player, be willing to pay a one time fee if it meant you could add ESO to your existing Steam account (or create a Steam account if you do not already have one) and get the Whiterun Wolfhound?

For me, the answer is yes. I'll admit, I want the Whiterun Wolfhound, but I also want the perks one gets from having access to the Steam community and I'm willing to help support ESO by paying for these two things. I'd gladly shell out 10-$20 and many more have already demonstrated that they would be willing to pay more.
