Twitch streams, lack of stamina based builds,

noticed there is STILL a lack of stamina based builds, damagers especially, how come Zeni still has not made them viable?

    They're against fast balance changes, for whatever reason. I somewhat agree that fixing everything at once would cause a lot of confusion, but the pace they're going isn't exactly ideal either.

    i have real life experience that show quite clearly that if you dont do something when it needs to be done, it can be really bad.

    its going to be bad if they don't start accelerating their efforts on balance...

    They may be against fast balance changes in policy, but in implementation they are most certainty fast and loose with their changes. There was nothing slow or thought out about the veteran nerf. They can say they use a scalpel all they want, their results look like a sledgehammer.

    The 1.3 patch should bring about a bit more balance. Many more options for stamina/weapon users in the sets and takes away some of the ability for magic users to stack crit as high as before. Though there is still much more that will need to be done.

    It has been in the works since the beta testing when it was brought up that there's a problem with balance. So tell me what is an acceptable amount of time to wait for this to be addressed?

    Anyone tried a stamina build on the PTS yet? I heard it's much better, but i haven't tried it myself yet ...

    The only change to stamina builds on the pts is indirect via the changes to set bonuses. It simply isn't enough.

    They want to change stamina build viability but don't want to change any of the weapon sets, and that just isn't going to work. Dual wield is better off now, and archery is doing OK, but two handed is a fundamentally flawed skill line that's going to need more drastic changes than zos seems willing to commit to.

    While the sets are there, it's next to impossible to actually test them because zenimax has chosen to not provide their testers with all the tools they need to test the new content.

    several twitch streamers have access but aren't testing them, wish Zeni would force an "all stamina" match for PvP and PvE for their silly turny to show how bad stamina builds are so that we can see what needs improvements

    Haha, because it isn't possible to do that. If you try to make "fast balance changes" all you usually do is cause unintended meta changes breaking the game.

    Any smart developer makes small iterations leading into bigger changes.

    First smart comment. Yes if you change it too fast then you'll have more people complaining on how it's now op or something else
