... Let me break it down for you. We want to play on Steam. As it is now we cannot. We cannot even transfer our existing accounts to Steam. Does that clear it up for you? I really can't make it any more simple for you.

I still don't get it. Why do you want to play it on Steam? I don't think it is integrated in any way (no achievements etc from what I've heard).

Just because you don't care doesn't mean that some people don't. If you don't care why are you bothering to even reply in these forums other than to troll?

I was asking a simple question, not trolling, and I never said I didn't care.

So let me paraphrase and ask again - What is the feature of Steam which you are looking for (and would ESO offer that in any case)? Is it just the dog, or is it something else which the Steam platform offers?

Not directed at me, but I will answer why I want my current account linked through Steam:

    1) Access to Steam ESO Forums
    2) Chat/Overlay and Guides in Steam while playing
    3) Seeing when my friends on Steam are playing ESO, and being able to join them quickly (and vice versa for them.)
    4) If ESO offers it, the auto-updating of ESO while I am not home through Steam
    5) Trading Cards

What I don't understand from all of the "Why could you possibly want it on Steam" people is, how would SOME of us that want to be able to link our accounts effect ANY of you who don't want to link it?

    *snipped*

And out of curiousity, is 3) any different to checking your friendslist in game?

#3 is more of a "Oh hey so-and-so is already playing ESO, I think I will jump on and join them." Not a huge deal, but I start most of my gaming evenings by first checking my Steam friends list, not my ESO friends list.

Wanting the Steam features is reasonable, I want them. I suspect they will become available in the future, especially since they (unfortunately) caved on the dog.

But 90% of the people complaining just want the dog. Very few people complain that they aren't getting the absolutely adorable pet pig. Some of these people are even complaining that they don't get the white dog specifically.

    /sigh
Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.

You can still buy explorer's pack keys cheap.

This is a meaningless point; as only ***-retentive players such as myself would pay extra for a feature like this.
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

Can anyone actually confirm that new accounts created through the steam key are able to apply these beta and explorer's codes to the new account?

I know they are purchasable, but don't know if having one code applied limits the ability to add the other.
