You missed the patch notes about Sorcerer pets now going into stealth with you when you crouch I take it.
Not vanity pets though. And frankly they shouldn't. If you are numb enough to run around with a bloody great dog following you in cyro you deserve to die

But if ESO doesn't get it together Destiny will crush them on the consoles. Bungie is not playing around with their new IP, and they are not Half assing anything.

For my understanding in some of the early talks of this dog issue it was said and tested that vanity pets do not follow you to Cyrodiil. And you are not able to deploy one there either.

You obviously haven't read the FAQ about ESO on Steam. You STILL have to subscribe through ZOS site. You can't use the game cards with this new Steam version.kenpachi480 wrote: »(first off all pets betray your crouching so they are off limit during PVP)

By getting it on steam, they get a particular pet... by pre-ordering, and getting a physical copy, others got particular pets.

The pre-order pet is separate from the Imperial Edition. They still get ALL the items from the Imperial Edition, PLUS a dog. A dog is a much more beloved and wanted pet than what we've gotten so far.

You guys excel at one thing. Upsetting your customer base.
"We are using the pay to play model so players get the whole game and are not forced to pay extra for in game features"
Lies.

Actually, you need to leave YOUR Ego at the door. You said ALL Pets, not vanity pets.

In case you haven't notice, Cyrodiil has been crab free for ages. And with the now constant spam of familiars, you should start to notice that the summoned pets stealth, missing a note isn't an excuse. Not fighting for your alliance is. Just acknowledge that your EGO couldn't be described by caps alone.
Dog.

You don't devise a promotion with a limited edition bonus and immediately tell everyone else they will be able to get something like it very soon. This is marketing basics.
Marketing like this does more harm than good for the consumer, I fear.
Agreed, all they have managed to do by riling everyone up is break what little trust most loyal members had in the company after the past couple of months. I am sure plenty will go for the pet for some ridiculous amount of money same as the horse that is there currently in comparison tot he imperial upgrade. But it has been a dirty tactic at a VERY bad time in the games development. When a fairly large amount of your most loyal subscribers have already lost a lot of faith in you, you absolutely do not push them even farther away. Based on what I have seen today there were a lot more subscribers who were losing faith in the devs then I thought. 13 pages of anger and hurt over just a vanity pet kind of sums that up.
Such a shame that we supported the game from beta, paying months of subscriptions and the full game price, some even bought collector's.
And yet these people paying half the price for the game, yet to start paying subscriptions, get a much cooler pet.
Ridiculous.
Then @ZOS_AmeliaR comes on without comprehending the complaint, just splendid work once again ZOS.

While I don't expect any other answer than the one given, I expect you to at least try soothing the masses. Ignoring such an uproar - and it must have been something you've seen coming - is, quite frankly, disrespectful.
I wouldn't feel the need to speak up about this, if you didn't promise to improve your communication. Then I just had written it off as very poor management and customer relations and be done with. But you did, and pretty much ignored all hot topics afterwards.
It's a shame, really.
