The current system for interactable/trash loot really is terrible. It pretty well does nothing for the player other than take up important bag space. You have an astronomically low chance of materials and a miniscule amount of gain from deconstruct (that's assuming you're not already maxed)
'Interactable' who are you kidding? pick it up yes, drop/leave it... nope we can't do that. In TES if you decided to drop something you could actually drop it, now its keep or destroy ! This would have been a great feature in ESO as if you decided to drop item(s) somebody else may have been lucky enough to find them.
Value - Nope, the loot is completely worthless (even the crap loot in TES had minimal vendor value) but this junk isn't worth anything.
Now I appreciate you needed to do it in a way that deterred gold farmers, but in doing it this way you harmed all those legit players who just want to play the game and maybe make a bit of gold on the side. You should have put a set value on trash items of 1g.
Rarity - It's all crap/rubbish ! At very least you should have made some of it better quality. Ok have mainly whites that's not an issue but also put some higher quality pieces around too (you're telling me that mansion I just went around doesn't own a single decent weapon or that palace doesn't contain even one 'nice' piece of gear?)
What was wrong with putting a small percentage of chance on better loot? 0.5% chance of finding a green, 0.1% chance for finding a blue (forget purples and golds)just those two would have made it so much more interesting !
It's like every time you guys do something good... you find at least twice as many ways to screw it up !
Zenimax/Devs.. you guys got a few weeks left before we get the August update, why not adjust some settings? It's certainly not difficult, you have everything in place already, just adjust some values for deconstruct inspiration/materials, at least that's something to start with that would make it worth the players efforts.
