Interactable/Trash Loot System Needs Changing !

The current system for interactable/trash loot really is terrible. It pretty well does nothing for the player other than take up important bag space. You have an astronomically low chance of materials and a miniscule amount of gain from deconstruct (that's assuming you're not already maxed)

'Interactable' who are you kidding? pick it up yes, drop/leave it... nope we can't do that. In TES if you decided to drop something you could actually drop it, now its keep or destroy ! This would have been a great feature in ESO as if you decided to drop item(s) somebody else may have been lucky enough to find them.
Value - Nope, the loot is completely worthless (even the crap loot in TES had minimal vendor value) but this junk isn't worth anything.
Now I appreciate you needed to do it in a way that deterred gold farmers, but in doing it this way you harmed all those legit players who just want to play the game and maybe make a bit of gold on the side. You should have put a set value on trash items of 1g.

Rarity - It's all crap/rubbish ! At very least you should have made some of it better quality. Ok have mainly whites that's not an issue but also put some higher quality pieces around too (you're telling me that mansion I just went around doesn't own a single decent weapon or that palace doesn't contain even one 'nice' piece of gear?)
What was wrong with putting a small percentage of chance on better loot? 0.5% chance of finding a green, 0.1% chance for finding a blue (forget purples and golds)just those two would have made it so much more interesting !

It's like every time you guys do something good... you find at least twice as many ways to screw it up !

Zenimax/Devs.. you guys got a few weeks left before we get the August update, why not adjust some settings? It's certainly not difficult, you have everything in place already, just adjust some values for deconstruct inspiration/materials, at least that's something to start with that would make it worth the players efforts.

    That would be great, and I don't see how it would be any different than bots farming desks, wardrobes ETC.. to at least make it worthwhile to actual players would be great. I found myself only benefiting from it at level 3, they were all replaced quickly after.

    *Being able to drop gear would be a nice feature as well, but you could see how annoying that might get, think people making things with bodies in wow.*

    Wait for Justice system, it can have values then and it will be a gamble to steal and farm it all so no benefit to bots unless they figure out a way to never get caught.

    Also if they stick to traditional ES methods, one should only be able to sell stolen stuff to the thieves guild fence.

    See that I could understand. But its not like they ever bothered to tell us the trash loot was part of a bigger game plan. If they had said "we're implementing it now for you guys to mess about with but later on we're going to add some value and a reason for it" great, players would know WTH is going on.
    Instead we just have this rubbish loot taking up bag space and basically cluttering up the game world with no logical reason for it.

    another reason they added it was people kept crying that a weapon or clothing/armor was laying around couldn't interact with it like in TES. I know its wrong for Zenni to try and please those on the forums asking it for it to be more like TES. Man people *** about it not being like TES, or its too hard, or whatever. Now people *** on what they did its a no win scenario for Zenni with some of the people here.

    It only wastes bag space if you loot it. Just don't loot it. The only thing that bothers me about it is that it very clearly effects the drop rate of rare motifs.

    That and finding giant 2h weapons in night stands and small trunks is about as absurd as finding an Elephant in a mail box.
