Transferring to console, the community gets smaller?

I question the problem that lies in having separate megaservers, if you're playing PC you can't play on the same servers as those on PS4 or Xbone, why I don't know. I used to play Final Fantasy XI back in 2003-2004 on the PC and a good portion of the population were on PC and on Playstation 2 on the same servers without any problems. I see a greater split once the console versions release and players choose to migrate/transfer away from the PC onto a Console; this deepens a wedge in the PC community further driving more players away as the numbers get smaller and fewer people to interact in game.

The bigger issue is how does the transfer work.
Considering everything is separate my thread questioned the facts as I assume it's not a copy. It should be but then how would either work? Also hoping the PC can copy to both a different times.

People will love to try it out on console but what if they want to return to PC.

My only EXP with this argument was last summer and Trion/DEFI had promised that the PC and console players would be able to go head-to-head.

It ended up as an E-peen contest between MS and SONY regarding no letting their populations mix, and wanting to keep the servers un-integratable.

The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.

The split won't hurt the PC version as there are a lot of ppl who aren't swapping anymore due to delays and other server issues on the PC that still exist.

I can say that the servers are separate because both Sony and Xbox have different chatting and party features. Another obvious situation is that XBL gold is required in addition to a sub (kinda silly that Zenimax didn't adjust the sub price on xbox one) while the PSN will not require ps plus.

The ps4 supports mouse and keyboard for one MMO while the xbox one supports keyboard only.

There is also the PSN account, XBL account and Zenimax account that I'm 100% sure will work differently on XBL at least. The Zenimax account will not apply just like my Bnet account doesn't apply to Diablo 3 or the Battlefied account or Call of Duty and Origin accounts that can be used but are not apart of xbox live accounts.

Maybe Sony's PSN uses that stuff.

In essence the separation has already occurred and the game delay will further separate the three.

It's a good thing as I hoped certain parts of the game would have player limits like Cyrodil would or should have a lot less players and a smaller map.

FPS are an issue on PC. Just think about consoles.
Unless they screw up and lower the graphics which would be a waste of a game.

I wouldn't worry about the PC community getting smaller I'd worry about how small the community on the consoles is going to be (especially Xbox On)
