I wasn't very optimistic a short time ago, as I thought once my wife and I reached Veteran rank with the characters we play together, we'd have to park and begin again with new ones just to enjoy the game together. But, in reference to the July 8th Road Ahead post which included the paragraph:

"We’ve been listening to your feedback about ESO’s Veteran Rank content. Some of the issues are that it’s too much of a departure from the 1-50 experience, it’s much more “grindy,” it can be too difficult, and the rewards don’t match the effort you have to put in to progress. I’m very happy to say that we’ll be making a series of announcements (starting at QuakeCon) that will address problems with the Veteran System in ESO, leading to a much more compelling high-level PvE experience for everyone."

...we've found the game is fun again and worth our time.

Playing the Veteran zone with no bots (at least we haven't seen any for some time now), plenty of resources, and loot to the point that we now have to plan our runs to allow us to get to town and sell/bank/break down our stuff has made this game something to look forward to again. By modifying the Veteran zones, you have all but eliminated the market for gold sellers and the various other vermin that leeched onto this game during the first 10 weeks or so. It's nice to pocket two or three thousand gold per run after repairs, restock and crafting. For us, the grind has been all but eliminated since the aforementioned update (yet remains a challenge) and ESO seems to be becoming what we hoped it would be. NOW...if ZOS could graciously reconsider the solo-only instances....
