Please think about changing aggro on lower mobs

I have been going back to some lower level areas to hoover up a few quests that were bugged at the time, grab a few more books and complete a couple of previously bot filled dungeons.

There were other people there who would have got xp and loot from things l had to kill because they were attacking me. Things 40 levels below me that should have had the sense to know attacking me was not going to end well.

It is time consuming for me too when l have to kill mobs from which l gain no benefit.

Please could you think about a system where mobs say 6 levels below you go yellow and do not attack? You can still hit them if you want but they will not force you to.

This way players at the right level for the zone get sufficient mobs and other players going back to explore or roleplay etc will not be bothered by having to kill things they gain nothing from.

This seems to work well in other MMOs and l am not sure of the reason for not having it implemented here.

I'm not so sure about having them go yellow. Maybe lower their agro range. I feel like if they just go yellow, you could farm lower level zone crafting nodes with zero opposition, which would be unfair for the players who belong there.

Agro radius decreasing with level discrepancy. Now where have I seen that before?

Seemed to work fine in LOTRO. It is natural good sense. Like the time my cat tried to attack a swan then ran away when he got close enough to realise how big it really was.

I dunno. I thought this was a good idea initially but I changed my mind after playing some more. Perhaps if the enemies just hesitated a bit longer before coming after you once they spotted you? I think that's a bit more realistic. I just don't want high level people to have free rein where others have to fight their way through.

On the surface it doesn't seem like a bad idea. I know I sometimes feel bad when taking one of my alts backwards to pick up skyshards. When other people are there trying to get xp, and I'm vaporizing anything that bothers me. It leaves me with that unpalatable 'bully' taste in the mouth.

What are the negatives though associated with a change of this magnitude?

I'd prefer if they didn't follow me for 10 miles then when i turn to hit them they run back.

Now that's something I can get on board with. How far they follow you reducing by level difference.

QFT ... plus resetting and immediately rehealing.

[Offtopic rate - They chase after you like a banshee and then totally reset. Its farking annoying; I understand anti-kiting measures but sometimes this is ridiculous. Plus if somebody else attempts to engage them most of the time they continue to aggro on you]

The other annoying thing is having to kill adds to get an achievment. I was fighting a boss and killed the boss but the add barely killed me he had like 1/10 of his health when I went down and the whole boss respawned with full health. No achievement.

Irrelevant. Wanna know what is even more copycat than copying WoW? Copying Ultima Online, Tibia and all the others who make the whole world aggo you without evolution.

    Within; Without.

From a story point of view it makes total sense, after all you've already 'fixed' or 'dealt with' the problems in the lower level areas, so why should you still be getting attacked?

Also from a mechanical point of view, a lot of other mmos already have this, I always found it a bit odd that ESO didn't.
