Movement locked

Hello,

My movement keeps getting locked - I've tried dififerent keyboards and a gamepad with no luck. Only thing that works is logging in and out. I just wanted to know if anyone had this problem?

I have the same issue every now and then. I can attack and cast spells, but I cannot move.

Mines similar, the difference is, sometimes I can't attack or cast spells but I can move.

This^^, I found out about this from another thread several weeks ago, I had, had this happen to me more and more frequently...... the getting 'rooted' to the spot bit!

In my case the culprit is Volcanic Rune but I believe there are other skills that will produce this effect. I seem to remember that it was suggested any 'ground' based abilities could cause this, i.e. a skill you fire at the ground. If the skill is interrupted or does not complete properly the result is you get stuck to the ground but can still use other abilities, such as looting, attacking etc.

The cure is as simple as, just fire off the offending skill again and you can immediately move normally. I still get this bug fairly often but the cure always works, hope it helps for you OP
