Faction Loyalty Dailies

Recycling the other faction zones is not a popular decision, and it has turned away a lot of people from the Veteran Zones. Players who enjoyed immersing themselves in the game have reported their discontent of playing these "alternative realities" because it ruins a sense of faction loyalty.

Sabotage and assassination alternatives in these quest lines have been suggested multiple times. I whole-heatedly support this idea and would make the Veteran Zones much more enjoyable.

I play in the Aldmeri Dominion and miss working along side Razum'Dar and the Queen. (Not to mention that Queen Ayrenn is much more competent than the High King or Skould-King; you don't have to save Queen Ayrenn repeatedly.) After you complete the quests in your faction, you really don't see the influential figures in your faction anymore because they get frozen at the last quests you've done.

My suggestion would be for these characters to give dailies for End-Game PVE content in the Veteran Zones. These Dailies can be sabotage, assassination or gain the trust of X figure quests. These quests would promote faction loyalty immersion, give TRUE end-game content and keep us playing with figures that we've enjoyed playing along side during our faction's quests.

This would open up great possibilities for new reward systems. Faction Gear can be a reward for finishing a rare Daily or even a new set for Eye of the Queen gear like Razum'Dar wears (and equivalents for the other factions).

Razum'Dar is a capable spy that could infiltrate enemy cities to give us these dailies. The other factions also have capable spies to infiltrate their opposing factions.

Perhaps have a special place in Cyrodil for each faction where the leaders and council hold council and make plans that is only unlocked after completing all of the home factions storyline.
and use that as the base of operations for the "faction loyalty dailies"

Or use the faction capital so Elden Roor, Wayrest etc.

today, in malabal tor(VR9) I went in this solo dungeon, and it was FULL of pact soldiers. I found it hilarious I had to kill my own allies for the faction I hate(screw the dominion, and screw the queen:)) they should do something like spy missions, something besides you killing your own allies:/

All those pact soldiers might have been DC players doing VR content! It's hard to know!

god no, this is a terrible idea,

Though I am in agreement that Ayrenn is the only competent one of the three rulers.

So then you support recycling content?

how is dailies not recycled content?

Also, I support not being forced to log on if I don't want to. Making the game feel obligatory is not my idea of fun.

Dailies do not force anyone to log on. TRUE end game content are often dailies because it gives you a slightly different task everyday that has rather minimal rewards that are usually cosmetic over anything.

Dailies can be repetitive but are nothing compared to the recycled content Zenimax currently has. Dailies do not stand in the way of lore or progression like the Veteran Zones do.

If you disagree with my thread, then say why. Don't flat out call it "terrible" and give no explanation on why you think that.

If you don't like the idea because that is suggests dailies, then that is an incredibly easy fix: Implement the other suggested ideas. The Veteran zones are still lore friend, faction loyal by changing a few missions to have them be sabotage or assassination based.

well yes dailies compared to nothing is newer content, but if dailies give faction, gear, etc, that does in fact force me to log in to stay relevant. I want to play casually sometimes.

Based on previous experiences, I am going to call it terrible because it has yet to be implemented well and I doubt ZOS would add anything to it.

I agree that I would prefer to play a spy and sabotage the other alliances, but I did cadwell's gold and silver already so it probably wouldn't affect me to change it. I think it is a good idea though.

I don't care much for daily grinds, where dailies implement unique gear that can only be achieved by grinding it. Maybe adding Dominion gear would be too much, but I suggested it as a way to make it so that we don't have to PVP grind only to get those specific gear types.

I am a very casual player and hate anything to do with grinding that obligates players to play frequently. In other threads I have openly stated this in reference to the grind zone Craglorn. I'd just like to continue working with some favorited characters that I had done so throughout my faction's quest line.

Well that's a perfectly fair request. I hear you will get to in upcoming content!

I look forward to working with Razum'dar again personally.
