"This Computer is not authorized"

So a few weeks back I've started getting this message every time I log into my account. I assumed that it was just a one time thing and it would go away after the first time but it continues to occur even though I log in from the same computer (my personal laptop) every time. It's not a huge issue but it gets annoying having to alt-tab and log into my email for a new code all the time. I'm not aware of any changes that have happened recently to the login process and I'm wondering if there's a way to permanently authorize my laptop so I can log in without this happening in the future.

You should check out http://www.whatismyip.com. If your ip is changing daily, that's your issue. It's like you're using a different connection each time and triggering the security check. Most dynamic ip accounts only change every few months at most, but some could change daily.

    Hello all,

As Dominoid said, if a player's IP address has changed recently, they will need to authorize their computer or device once again to be able to log in. This will occur even if they are using the same machine they have always used.

If you have the possibility, we would recommend to configure a static IP to avoid this "error message" in the future.

I'm pretty sure my IP doesn't change every second. If I log into ESO, quit and try to log back RIGHT after that, I still need to "authorize" my computer again. This doesn't happen every day, it happen every TIME I log in, unregarding how long it's been since previous attempt.

Same as OP, basically. Email gets there, but it's very annoying.

On the log in screen just above your user name there is a little "house" icon and a "lock" icon. Make sure the "house" icon is highlighted, that tells the game you are using your home internet connection and not some random WiFi hotspot.

Code requested every log in. IP address examined for not changing, check. Click the house icon in the game client, check. So if my IP address is verified as not changing and the house icon is clicked, maybe zenimax could fix the issue on their end?
