This has already been asked several times. I believe a couple of them were even polls.

Probably. As much as I love this game and have infinite patience with its faults, I'm just not interested in a game that goes the f2p direction. I'd probably just go back to WoW.

F2P would mean I won't play anymore games till one that will remain nameless (that's a clue) comes out.

Most likely no. I don't like the idea of FTP, in fact I hate it, but I'd still play...

    Probably.

However GW2 is relatively decent despite being F2P once the box has been purchased.. so who knows.

F2P seems to attract a certain type of player IMO. I don't mean to generalize as not all F2P players are bad, I play a lot of F2P MMO's. But I've seen several MMO's transition from paid to F2P and you see a VERY sharp decline in the playerbase maturity for some reason.

I'd stick to TESO, but if the playerbase took a nose dive I'd have to say goodbye. I've been nothing but impressed with TESO's population so far, very mature and you don't see a lot of crap going on in world chat.

Yes, GW2 seems to be the exception. Very nice people in that game even though it's F2P.

I wouldn't quit JUST because it went F2P, but honestly it depends on how the F2P system is implemented and whether or not it brings in a whole host of undesirables.

It would really depend on how they go about making it FTP. If they just dropped the sub fee, sure I would still play. If they make the entire game free with a bunch of micro-transactions to make up the difference, probably not.

Can't say for certain. But free to play is never free, in fact it usually ends up costing a lot more than £9 a month. Their main focus would be the cash shop selling experience boosts and crates of food/potions etc.

Yes. I have seen their Facebook page and if it goes free to play its going to look like that on their servers. I can't handle that.

Yeah, I would ragequit. There is no such thing as ethical microtransactions, as at its core its about selling/buying advantage over players not paying (as much), with the most sick part being the fact that in such scheme game delevoper himself takes over role otherwise filled by bots, gold farmers and hackers. He just has a cash shop for it.

No, doubt the game is going f2p anyway. But would definitely quit if it became p2w and not able to progress in the game unless you spend something like $50 a month.

    and No.

I will simply finish game (unlike most MMOs, it can be finished). And then bye.. maybe come back now and then to try new stuff, if it wouldnt be tied to "must buy or nothing".

F2P is boogeyman, but if done right (RIFT for example) its not bad..

I'm also using large doses of irony and sarcasm.

Plus Im mean person, cause I really dont have reason to like you. Or anyone.

Free to Play or Pay to Play, I already quit ESO. Zenimax has proven incapable of fixing the game. There's no reason to play it.

If you already quit, why are you still here. If you came back, you must still like this game.

There is a crowd who wishes to see the game improve, to see the game excel, to see the game become a worth Elder Scrolls successor but we have been disappointed.

Any fan of a franchise will keep their eyes and ears open for future game development on the newest projects in that franchise. That is why the forum had a lot of Elder Scrolls fans explain their discontent for the game even after they have quit the game and unsubscribed.

We hope that the game will eventually include impressive level designs, impressive game mechanics, intriguing lore additions, better customization and an overall fun gameplay experience.

I am one of the few still here, because the others have been discouraged enough. Lack of listening through the patches is discouraging. Rampaging trolls and inconsistent Zenimax Moderators are discouraging. I have been discouraged from posting the majority of my feedback because of these reasons.

Yet, I'm still here hoping that one day Zenimax will listen.

Who knows when I'll get sick of any game until it happens, but the cost is never a factor unless that cost is for over powered stuff with a use limit before needing to purchase again. Then I'd probably quit.

I voted no, but that's sort of conditional. It wouldn't bother me unless the game nickel and dimed me to death or became overrun with BR. If they can pull it off as well as rift I would be ok.
