Failed to log off error

On one of my characters every time log out I get an error that the log out has failed.
I have not experienced this with any other character, just the one.

My fear is that this is going to lead to some form of rollback and/or the game is not backing up my current status hence I will end up loosing progress in some fashion (list skill points, crafting XP...etc).

While I can't say if this is unique to an event or zone (it happens across all zones) it appears to have started right after the character advanced to Coldharbour.

Anyone else have this issue?

Occasionally. I also occasionally get a 'cannot log out in combat' message, even though I hadn't requested to log out...

I've never had the issue, but you should contact Customer Support and see if they can look into it for you. You can do that either from the support section of this site, or directly in-game, in the same place where you report bugs and give feedback.

A GM should be able to look into it for you. I suggest repairing your launcher ahead of time, because no doubt, the first thing they'll ask is "have you tried running a repair through the launcher?"

I get that EVERY first attack I make after logging in, have done for for a long time, it appeared in an early patch IIRC.
