I dont know if this is a good idea. I like the Templar class and it's about time they get some affection in upcoming patches, especially for pve. But for pvp, they can be a very strong class. This upcoming change could be dangerous, if it will be possible to spam sun shield and its morphs, particularly blazing shield, without any disadvantages.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »

- Sun Shield: This ability no longer stops your magicka regeneration.
You do know that a Templar beat all the other classes in the 100k Duels hosted by legends right? Google 100k Duesl ESO .. Last fight was a dragon knight vs Templar two amazing players !! Im not sure what he was doing but a well played temp is just nasty !!!

I think the penalty was stupid, but the ability will be a bit over the top with this change.

When sun shield explodes, (idk the morph) it does way to much damage, it's ridiculous.
Idm the losing magicka regen, because 1 skill shouldn't affect literally your ability to cast skills, or weaken your ability to but the damage it does when it explodes needs major nerfing
I didn't complain about it. I just said that blazing shield is already strong in pvp, especially against melee players. And as a melee, it could become very tough fighting a Templar with blazing shield. But Maybe I am wrong and you are right and this change is a great idea.NerfEverything wrote: »This is a great idea. Plus DKs have spammable reflective scales which is significantly better.
Got the same assumption.f0rgiv3n27b14_ESO wrote: »What I fear is that this is their way of giving resource management (the unanimous requested fix to Templars).
Exactly, and it's not very much fun if anyone is using the same build. It's already a big problem in my opinion.david.haypreub18_ESO wrote: »I find it odd that the developers seem to be trying to help classes by bumping the abilities that are already good. See: Puncturing Strikes.
This seems to lead just to cookie-cutter builds. Instead, bump the Templars mana management, and allow for many more builds to be viable.
