Any word on the cause or an upcoming fix to "Skill lock"

Myself, like MANY other pvpers im sure, have become quite annoyed with this skill lock out when fighting (usually other players, but some npcs).

Spamming abilities does nothing except make the icon blink at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes you can hit esc twice and fix it in a pinch, but in a fight its usually too late before you notice youre locked.

Im currently PvPing with a controller, because i have a cast on one arm. I suck with the analog stick, but i get by. But when this happens its a huge kick in the face. Cuz the way i have Esc rigged up on my controller is something that i dont think about touching in combat.

I completely understand how you feel. I've been killed a number of times by having my skills completely locked down. Weapons have also glitched out as well. This usually means that the best I can do is run away, or run in circles. Escape Escape Escape Escape doesn't always solve the problem.

I'm playing on controller as well. I have the back key set for escape and it seems to work for me during skill lock. Maybe remap yours and give it a shot?
