Pinnacle Game Profiler Not Working with ESO

Myself and others that use Pinnacle Game Profiler noticed odd issues after a recent update (1.2.3 I think). Move both joysticks on a game pad at once at the mouse stick jumps all over the place making the game rough to play. I ran a few experiments and found the it's linked to DirectX. I then reported it to ESO Support and asked to speak to any of their people that use controllers and I was given a canned response "Sorry, controllers are not supported".
Cool, I get that, but it's not what I asked for. I wanted to know how their people, who in past interviews have said that they use controllers, get them to work. And as a somewhat handicapped player I really need to use a controller - I can't use a keyboard and mouse for gaming.
