Seriously. I think a lot of the bad press is undeserved. Sure, there are bugs - which will hopefully one day be fixed. But, the game's fun, beautiful, sounds incredible and - with the right amount of TLC - destined to become a classic with a long life.

I do understand that some have left due to various issues, but I predict many of these folks will come rushing back when the various issues/bugs have been fixed. Other MMOs simply don't compare in terms of graphics, story and dynamic/action-oriented gameplay. I think ESO will one day be great.

I love this game, but am quickly losing faith in the devs. This whole FPS debacle has really chipped away at the confidence I had in them. Seems to apply to how my guildmates feel as well. A lot of us just hit V12 and we're excited about moving our focus to endgame PVP and then this happened :(

I'm still playing this game and still having a lot of fun. I'm a patient guy. The issues are small for me
    I just love chaos!

The bad press is most certainly deserved but that doesn't mean this isn't a great game, but their design choices leave a sour taste in your mouth. Their uncanny ability to break more than they fix always rates high up on the scale.

Well, perhaps it's time to take a short break and come back in a couple of weeks? I did, and it worked wonders for me. I quickly realized the grass isn't greener when I play other MMOs. Sure, some of age-old titles no longer face teething problems, BUT they can't match ESO for fun and beauty IMHO.

Being from the Midwest part of the USA I absolutely love the thunderstorms in ESO. I sometimes just stop an look up and listen to it, such a happy moment.

Man, this game is awesome. From the beginning I told people to wait, wait for the devs to fix the bugs and exploits, with such a massive piece of software, problems are bound to happen. This is not my position anymore, now I encourage people having issues to just unsub until this dev team either gets better or fired. I don't care which one anymore. Tomorrow is make it or break it for me.

Oh no, a positive thread, some people might call for an exorcist!

But I agree, despite all its bugs, the game is awesome. But this does not mean they shouldn't be working on addressing these ASAP and the time it takes to fix certain issues, like the FPS bug, is concerning. Of course, I do know they are not enjoying it either so they are probably working on it but still...

I am totally with you on this one. I like the game, i really do. But atm i cant get asked to say any positive. The game throws every single bug that exists in it at me at the moment.
I will continue to play it, but i am fairly frustrated. Lag, FPS issues, LvL50 horse that looks like LvL1, Black Screens, Pink Screens.. Just to name a few.

I am sure you wanna see the pink screen. Here have a screeny ;)

Isnt it faboulus? At least i had a decent FPS with the pinky.

I agree that this game is fun, probably the most fun game I have tried in years. I do only PvE at the moment, because I still have no characters above VR1-2, so I'm mostly untouched by the worst of the current problems. I do worry that the bugs are getting over their heads, though. As long as the software remains unstable and unreliable, all work being put into content, game design and balancing is more or less for naught.

It's pretty fun from 1-50 if you are a caster. It might also be fun as a first MMO, or console MMO.

This isn't my first MMO, and I have never played a console MMO. I had fun from 1-50 as a non-caster. Heck, I'm playing a new character (Templar) with 2h and even enjoying PvP...
