This game is great and even better shared with a friend or new acquaintances brought together by a common task. My trek through Tamriel has not been without its hardships accentuated with multiple deaths, but all-in-all a good experience.
My point to this post is to encourage folks to slow their intense grind to VR-12 and help some people struggling with whatever task they are engaged. It pains me when I see people on chat asking for help and no-one responds. How do I know they do not get a response, because that person asking for help has been me many times and most of the time I get no response. When I have time I always attempt to answer the call for help and port to that person after accepting an invite to group with them.
Does stopping to help slow down my progress in the grind toward VR-12? Certainly it does, but at the heart of any social-based game are the relationships we make along the way. I only want to remind folks that there is a sense of satisfaction you get from being charitable and unselfish. Try it – you will like it. And, most importantly for the world of Tamriel, we will be around for a long time.
This clamor for level, loot, and such is part of the MMO world but so are friendship, unselfishness, and charity.
Every person I have met in ESO through sharing a task to be done have been extraordinary people, fun to know, witty, and after we are done continuing with chat and setting us a “friends’ in the contacts screen.
See you in-game.
