Nord Dragonknight tank, put points in stamina or health?

Falcon9142
Hey guys, I am currently a lv 7 nord dragonknight that uses a two handed weapon and will later be using a bow for a better range.

My question is should i invest all my points in health or put some in stamina as well? At the moment, I put all of them in health, but for later on in the game, would it be more useful to have some in stamina as well? If so, how many do you guys recommend?

Thanks!

Health is always useful, but if you are using "weapon skills" plus blocking, rolling etc, Stamina will just never ever be enough. So, points in Stamina, in that case, is always a good idea.

How could anyone answer without knowing what skills you use?

but, you can use food to boost any stat, health being good. Also stating you are a tank and use a two handed weapon suggests that maybe you should look at magic!
You may want to look at sword and board for tanking.
Hard to say without knowing more.

If you want to tank, I'd suggest looking at Sword and Shield and look towards Draconic Power skill set. I'm not a tank myself and don't have a Dragonknight, but as I understand it Dark Talons and Green Dragons blood are your bread and butter.

Take a look at some other builds on youtube and take a look at a skill calculator. Link below

As for placing attributes I would recommend putting them all in one place and then use armor to boost another. It's cheap enough to change your attributes, so experiment. It's expensive to change skill points mind..

Since talons has been nerfed quite a bit, many have started to replace it with volcanic rune, at least in pve tanking. That can be found in the mages guild skill line, I believe you need rank 6 there so be sure to lvl that line up as well.

A magicka tank is also the preferred build for tanking right now, so unless any drastic changes are coming, you can very well focus only on light armour and magicka + health. You don't need to put a single point or have a single armour enchantment in stamina to be able to tank well.

Whats the best ratio for magicka vs health for a light armour tank?

Basically all attributes on health and all enchantments magicka. You can mix in some stamina if you go heavily over the softcap but that's mostly optional.

Also, the spiked armour ability is important if you go with light armour.

Or 2 light + 5 heavy, with the 2 light being magicka furnace. Then get both rings + neck of magicka furnace so you get the 5/5 bonus.

Magicka furnace got nerfed recently, it now has a 30 sec cooldown, virtually rendering it useless.
