I was questing tonight and did a quest at Alikr's Desert that phased part of the zone. (VR9)
(Had to kick some AD from the ruins at SW corner).
Until then the game was working perfectly without issue.
The moment the game phased (white bright screen), the fps dropped to 30 and the GPU usage went all way down to 23%. I moved around quite a bit in the area, came outside the dungeon, and the fps never went above 33 (screenshot) while the MSI AB shows GPU usage all way down to 19%.
I closed the game. Logged back in and the GPU went back again to normal usage, cracked up the heat to 60C, and the fps jumped to 90+ and the game is smooth again.
I do hope my above feedback is some use to ZoS.
My system is
i7 4820K overclocked at 5Ghz. 8GB DDR3 2400 in Quad Channel configuration.
GTX 780 Ti 3GB overclocked at 1293 mhz.
And playing with everything maxed out on a 1080p monitor.

Mud_Puppy✭✭✭I know there is a certain quest area in Alik'r that gives almost any GPU a good 1-2 punch shmackaround.
It's the area with the large clouds of drab smoke/gas/whatever. Not sure if that's WHERE you ran into this issue but it happens to most everyone in that particular area. They just stacked to many smoke effects on one thing.
If this was not the case you're experiencing the results of the last few patches./kill0 -

✭The issue occurred at Salas En, after I finished the quest there and the are "phased".
It actually as you see from the screenshots, had no effects or anything. Just desert.
Where usually I get almost 80% GPU usage and 90 fps.0
