Yeah. That's right. I got a 6 month sub when the game came out. Boy, has the number of players in game changed! I live in Japan and play on NA server, so I do play during off times. Doesn't matter. I've still seen a huge decline in players online during my play time.
I'm not even sure if this game will last for the remainder of my subscription. I came in with a group of friends. I was the only one optimistic enough to get the 6 month sub. Needless to say, they're all gone. My guild of 340 went from 40 online (during my play time) to 10 over the last two weeks.
We were promised big expansions similar to that of Skyrim's Dawnguard every month, but we're getting these little dungeons for max level characters instead. The guild store is still complete rubbish compared to what we were expecting. What happened to guild stores in keeps being accessible to everyone? That was mentioned before release, and it still hasn't happened.
ZOS' best chance at making anymore money off of this is the console release. I seriously think they'll shift to B2P by the time the console version is released to cater to console gamers.
I paid for six months, so I will continue to play. I do still find some joy in the game, but I am just one person. The majority has been lost. Too many players have left with a bad taste in their mouths. Nothing can bring some of those people back. What is being done to obtain new players? It's not working. I feel like anything done at this point to improve the game is too little too late. Good luck, Zeni.
TLDR; I love TES, but I am really disappointed in what has happened here.
