✭My horse looked like *** till 1.2.3. Then it looked agreeable when I switched to "High" textures. I know some [snip] will say it's your hardware but...when my character face draw flawlessly with every single wrinkle and scar but my horse looked like a blurr Morrowind thing it's their end. Regardless is not a problem for me. Also did you notice the lump at the horse's ***? I'm surprised they done that and no one moaned about. Maybe we are evolving. Nude and killing isn't a reason to panic anymore.
TL;DR: Set your textures high.

Theegoliath✭✭✭I honestly was kinda saddened by the low texture for my horse on ultra as well. The blanket at lvl 50 under its saddle looks better then its face. : /

Come on the horse on the last picture looks hunder times happier then the others!!! You can see he/she is smileing!
Still maybe you have a point, and i wish ZoS will be catching up soon with the other issues to make our horses more happier/detailed
