Can't play after the hot fix (07-02-2014)

So a hot fix for the fps issue was just released but my launcher won't download it and I can't play the game anymore because I get a message stating that my client is outdated.

Won't update, can't repair, can't play.

Others have been just closing the launcher re opening and check for updates

Of course the hotfix screwed everything up even more.

Its still hot.

Being a zos patch it should require a full week to cool and be playable right before bang! a new patch is out.

Uninstall ALL mods and then launch the game. Worked for me

yes par for the course for this development team..they continue to wet paper towels and throw them at walls hoping one of them will stick eventually. Heres an idea zenimax......with all the cash you made from subs and game sales send your developers to school or hire a development coaching crew to train your devs.

Delete everything in the saved variables folder, the user settings file and the shadercache.cooked, you should be able to log in then. I was having load in issues as well and after that and a comp reset i was good to go.

I am having the same problem, I have had a lot of trouble getting the launcher to load period and usually bypass this with running the .exe which is what I tried first. It said my game was invalid and out of date. Sweet, must have been a patch. but this time the launcher loaded and I was able to press the play button, it never downloaded anything. Press play, invalid and out of date. The patcher is not patching, I have tried what the above people have suggested but no good. Can we get a MOD to post on this topic please?
