So I have finally managed to force myself through the remaining storyline of ESO for the daggerfall covenant. And honestly I am not impressed.
Maybe it was the overhype for the game in general, or the overhype about how epic the final battle with molag bal was... But I feel unfulfilled. I don't feel like I accomplished anything other than grinding quests for a few extra skill points.
The story overall was meh, and seemed to be pretty drawn out, no major plot twists or surprises, just your typical; gather a team and go kill the end boss. I mean, you literally know the entire storyline by level 5. Molag bar is trying to pull nirn into oblivion, and you must gather the team and stop him. That's it...
So now I have 2 options, do the exact same quest grind in the other alliances... Hmm no thanks 1 time was way more than enough. Or grind craglorn until I'm at least VR 10 so that I can start grinding vr12 gear just in time for new VR levels to come out. Sorry, again not interested.
So for now, I am done with ESO. I am actually more excited about watching YouTube videos about destiny than I am to sit down and grind through ESO more. I can honestly say I loved the environment, and the world of ESO as i have been a longtime fan since morrowwind. But the structure of the game has completely turned me off, maybe I'll try again one day if VR and endgame get fixed.. But I'll just enjoy my summer for now.
