Fast Report add-on is now broken since the update so I removed it from the add-on's folder. But I keep getting errors about it when I log in. Pic below of what I see. How do I fix this problem please thank you?

I had the same issue, but it went away when I disable the add-on from the add on menu when you esc. Try that. I imagine it will get update pretty soon and the problem will go away.

If this doesn't help, I would send a message the add-on author. Zenimax can't help with add-ons.

Yeah, I mentioned that I got rid of the add-on in question but even though I did that I'm still getting the error for that add-on that I removed.

This whole thing with add-on's just shows me that Zenimax dont give a flying flipping fu?? about the add-on's. I have lost very important data because of them over this disrespect they plainly have for a feature that they allowed to be added to the game. All my map markers and harvest points are all gone...lost for ever. And my most valued add-on no longer works at all. >.< Thanks again Zenimax for ruining my gaming experience once again! >..> Pffft, they will never see this post so why am I bothering with it? Guess I'm just venting my pure frustration. Paying $80 for this disaster has made me very bitter towards Zenimax! I make and sell custom made knifes and if I operated like Zenimax dose my name would be ruined and I would go out of business in a hurry!

addons are allowed but not supported. and its not the only game that handels player created content like this.

try deleting the addon settings file too.
else reinstal the addon in question and then diesable it properly though the game before removing it

I did remove it properly from within the game and I still got the error. So, then I removed the add-on completely and I'm still getting the same error.

    Hello all,

As explained by AngryWolf and Brabok, we do allow add-on, but we do not support them.
If you have any problem about an add-on, please take contact directly with the author of the add-on or with the website where you downloaded it.

    Thank you.

I must say I do find this policy to be rather crazy considering the game is only half finished in a lot of ways because you wanted add-ons to be a big part of things.

I realize that some things really will be down to the add-on creator to fix, but point blank refusing any kind of support for even a situation where add-ons have been attempted to be removed seems very unyielding.

Seems like you want to have you cake and eat it too.

    it's a matter of perspective.
I wouldn't call it unyielding, since the ZOS guys have no way of knowing what addons a player might be using and with the sheer amount of addon combinations possible it would be a serious task to check each an every one of them for possible conflicts or side effects.

Fact is that as long as no addons are installed the support folks should be able to help out with problems as long as they know the game is not modified and in it's original state.
As soon as its being modified there's a good chance that any info or procedures they might have are being made null and void.

The folks who created the addon are more likely to be able to help though since they should have an idea what their creation is doing.

You're not clearly stating what error message you are getting though.
If the addon is removed from the addon folder and any mention of it deleted from the AddonSettings.txt file it should not be giving any messages.
you can't get messages referring to something that isn't there.

unless you do. in which case more info would help those that can help you, fellow players like myself who are using addons.

Agree so much with this, the games own UI left so much to be desired and somewhat un-finished, even since Beta you see in video's all have add-ons in use for more feedback of the game which is lacking.

They will realize this eventually, less add-on less players then less subscription, you already see this with the recent patch on how many of the add-ons that all use aren't being updated.

Indeed! They allow add-ons then they seem to have no regard for them at all. And I feel its simple to not mess up the add-ons with an update. They made the place where add-ons work so why mess with that area unless its bugged which I seriously doubt it was. And IF for some strange reason they felt some changes needed to be made to that area of the game then why not be forth coming with it and explain their actions to us. Then we would at least know why that part of the game needed to be mucked up? These add-ons are so damn handy and nice then they go and muck it all up making them broke and wiping away ALL settings & saved data for those add-on. Its a flat out disregard and no respect to their customers! And not many of the add-ons are being updated cuz those people have left the game. So, how am I suppose to get a fix for them?

Its been crap like this and so many other things that have pushed me away from this game in so many ways I cant even take the amount of time and list them all. So I bought FF14 (which cost me $45 for the collectors edition and not fricken $80) and will be playing that until this game goes F2P or I may not even come back at all just out of good principles for releasing a broken game to the public knowing full well that it was broken. I have wasted enough of my precious money playing for a beta game. And all the damn nerfs they have done is just flat out discouraging to the point where the game has just become unrewarding. Sick and tired and VERY angry with the crappy to no loot what so ever on bosses. Every boss kill is awfully discouraging and a severe let down. I dont even bother with bosses any more cuz I HATE getting so pi$$ed off over it.

They cant seem to make a patch that dont introduce new bugs that then take them a month or so for them to fix but then again adding new bugs. Its like they dont know their own damn game or something. I could actually hang out and live with their epic screw ups IF they dropped subscription fee which they wont as long as they think they can get away with it. Pi$$es me the hell off that I'm paying them money to beta test their game. Many more people on here need to be enraged about this! If enough people closed their accounts it would force them to do what is right and stop charging us for a beta game or even better make them take the damn thing down and actually fix it without dragging Elder Scrolls fans through all this grief. Clean up most if not all bugs and add the features that are so plainly missing from the game! THEN and only then open up the game. This little voice in my vast brain says "Keep dreaming sucker" I love Angry Joe's review on Zenimax online. Hits the nail on the head!

    Hello all,

As explained by AngryWolf and Brabok, we do allow add-on, but we do not support them.
    Thank you.

Never before has this been more evident.

The base UI is not adequate for most and the answer to that has always been the API/add-ons. People with a great love for the game take their own time to create these add-ons that make the game much more enjoyable, some would say barely adequate , for all of us. I greatly appreciate their efforts.

This is of great benefit to Zenimax and appears to be taken for granted.

As sad as it sounds, many FTP games have much better overall support.
