Probably a large number (maybe more than 42), given that many of them are used to playing alone in previous TES games. I mostly play solo, but that's because Im anti-social.

I solo a lot. I move pretty slow at times lol...

Only time I dont is when I happen upon a group dungeon, but most of my builds are centered around massive aoe dmg with lots and lots of armor!

I'm just one person but I have 3 alts so 1 x 3 divided by that one time I did a group dungeon for 2 hours less the four hours I spent in Cyrodil equals....6.

I mostly play solo because I like to potter around, reading books, picking flowers and looking in all the crates and sacks.

I'm effectively solo. I'd like to group periodically and have but I only play an hour a day and I find the grouping tools to be completely ineffective. E.g. I'd like to group in the bonesnap ruins where I have been slaughtered about 10 times when trying to informally tag along with people and losing them at inopportune moments!

I recently tried to solo a L12 dungeon at L28 and couldn't cut it!

I play solo mostly, but I do enjoy the occasional pug for dungeons. I will do each public dungeon once just to get the achievement. Different people's play styles annoy me, lol.

Solo most quests, solo - solo dungeons & a few world bosses. Ask for help when needed & join small groups at dolmens & certain world bosses.

I do not group with anyone, but I do like to chat. In one way, I am not not alone because I am talking with people and other way I am alone because I am not group or feel rushed with other people in the group.

i play solo for many many many reasons but the comment i quoted is just a few of those reasons.

I mostly solo, because grouping with strangers for questing does not really work. I welcome their help though.

My issue is that I listen to dialogs. Majority does not, so I would be kicked from group anyway.

I do not know much about stories from dungeons because of rushers. Which makes me sad :-(

Yep, conforming to other peoples expectations is something I want no part in so I skip them.

I've solo'd as much content as I am able to. There are few things I'll group for, those being Anchors, some World Bosses and Public Dungeons up to the Eastmarch Zone area for the Ebonheart Pact. Everything else, I prefer to do on my own. (In between the lines: I'd hate to burden anyone else with my less than stellar reflexes, my somewhat laggy connection or my lack of knowledge towards certain aspects of the game.)

It means I've missed out on Group Dungeons, but maybe once I hit VR I might go back through and see if someone is patient enough to deal with someone who has raided less times than the fingers on their left hand. At least at VR I should have a bit more health to serve as a buffer between instant death and close calls. The last time I attempted Fungal Grotto, it was a blood bath, and not for the enemy.

I solo through most of the content, but will gladly group up for dungeons. I am betting that most people who play this are like me, so I will go with around 80%.

I soloed by questing to VR 11 3/4ths and, oddly, hit VR 12 while repairing a wall in AvA last night. I've done about half the group/public dungeons, no Veteran dungeons, nothing in Craglorn, and very rarely grouped with anyone aside from for Overland bosses and dolmens.

People can find groups in ESO? I way out leveled all 4 man dungeons because couldn't find a group until 10+ levels above the dungeon. And this was with all the classes

Is there any other way? I miss games where you get in groups every day meet people, establish relationships that sometimes turn into guilds or real friendships, but this doesn't seem to be one of them. Here we solo until we can't. Aside from dolmens bosses and group dungeons the closest thing to an actual group I routinely experience is running into other players at the same step of a quest.

I do have a friend who plays and we plan to get together when our schedules align but I'm in the VRs and he's mid 40s. And if we do it will be because we are friends not because we need to.

Really hate where MMOs have gone in this regard. Somehow we've gone from soloing being a viable option to the only option on a practical level and it sucks IMO.

Almost entirely solo, not least because the game makes it so damn hard to do otherwise outside of the region dungeons. I'd have preferred all dungeons and quest instances to be instanced for solo-small group without any restrictions at all on membership.

Public dungeons, where you have a dozen people zerging the same quest is just a very bad idea.

I dont know someone has mentioned that before just dont know how. What I do is stand outside the dungeon and ask people to join a group than when done I leave.

Kind of a Wham Bam Thankyou ma'am, kinda thing.
