Really Maintenance 2 times a week ??
Is this game so volatile and poorly developed that we have to endure 2 maintenance down times a week?? what gives? we just had almost a full day of downtime for the patch which in int's own right finished up the day because of being 9 gig come on guy who ya got coding in there a room full of monkeys?

Spiritreaver_ESO✭✭✭Just rolled your first character? 'Cause TESO has had 2 scheduled maintenance per week since launch. And yes, currently the game does need them. -

✭Yesterday was not a "patch" per say -- it was an update that gives us new content. We also skip the maintenance this Monday for it. Today, it is just a normal maintenance day. Also, all new MMO's will have more updates then those who been around for years and years.
ZOS is trying to fix and improve the game for us players. We should be supportive of their work. -

Shadowhorn✭✭Yeah. It is uncommon. Usually just 1 maintenance per week in other games. Patch size - due to different zoning and coding it is probably impossible but WoW had a great system where you could just DL the most important parts of the new patch and play already while still DL the rest. -

Really? your going to use that as A way to dismiss what i said? that's like saying you can't criticize a pro football player or sports figure or travel service unless you've done it as well come on really? I am not saying the game is a bad game I rather enjoy it so much so I get a little miffed when i can't play it . Just new to MMO's and was not aware of so many maintenance periods needed. -

We get that question a lot. At some point in the future, they'll probably get maintenance down to once a week, but the game is still so new that it's reasonable (imo) to still have it twice.
