I think so. Things getting all fzdzs'd up by patches, including your build and forcing you to do things differently is nothing new as far as MMOs go. I find it's really not all that painful if you just take it as it comes and learn to adapt.
I would say wait. I think the game has alot of potential, but right now there is no direction. Wait for a bit and see which direction they take in development, either focused around PvP, PvE, storyline or content, then decide. Right now its in shambles.

This a great mentality to bury a game that has "potential".
Its nothing short of impossible to release an MMO perfectly balanced. Most MMOs that have been out for years still have trouble balancing.
Patches more often than not screw something new up. As games become more complex such as these so does attempting to update them.
No MMO will get out the door perfect. NOT playing it takes away revenue. Enough revenue loss kills the game.
This is just plain terrible advice. This game is playable. I know cause I have played it.
Now you have to ask yourself if you are having fun. If you are STAY. If not LEAVE.
You think this game has straight out design flaws either deal or leave EASY.
If bugs and balance issues preventing you from having fun, MAYBE your in the wrong genre. MMOs are KNOWN for bugs and balance issues.
Its one thing to give a heads up "HEY this is bugged plz look at it"
But you look at these forums its WAY beyond that. Its complaint after complaint after complaint for the SAME THING over and over and over again. OK thank we heard that its broke the 1st 1,000 times if its not fix yet deal or leave.
Come to the point you cant even have a decent discussion in these forums any more about ANYTHING without some *** racing in to blurt out pure hatred when it doenst even have to do with the topic on hand.
It's worth it for me. I'm loving this game so far. Most of the bugs and things people are complaining about in these forums, i'm not finding to be true when playing the game.

Well most the people are simply looking for something to be wrong. Those that WANT to be happy CAN.
Can you find something wrong with the game SURE. Can find something wrong with ANY game if you simply look for it. The more you focus on it the less you can actually see of anything else.
If you askRagnar_Lodbrok wrote: »No.
You will probably hear... NONE. Doesn't even know why s/he is here any more.
If you can tell me a better game I can tell you its flaws.

Some people are happy with a polished turd I guess

@Shaun98ca2 What are you talking about lol?
I never said that the game was bad. All games have bugs on release, this is given and ESO was no different, but in ESO's case it had ALOT more. Balance is always going to be a problem and it will get fixed and altered though out the game, but stuff like set bonuses, mundus stone buffs that are still not working in a PvP game? You really think thats standard in an MMO?
Story line bugs and character bugs are not that much of a problem unless it blocks progress, and I only came across one after finishing 2 fractions, so it did not bother me that much.
Im still having fun, Im still playing the game, altho maybe not for long. The OP just asked if its worth putting alot of time into the game, and for that I said wait. As he should, because currently there is no end game, things like PvP still needs fixes, so there is no real point in putting alot of time into ESO, what about that advice is wrong? Read his post.
Finally the forums are full of people complaining, well because thats how they get noticed. People who have no problem will not be here, if you want a good discussion forums are not the place.
I find it funny when you say you want a good discussion yet you are the one complaining.

HMM not sure I have actually directed any comments at you. Could be wrong though.

The ONLY expectation you should look for is. PLAY THE GAME....ARE YOU HAVING FUN.
If YES continue. NO leave. SIMPLE.

What did i just read? Can we have a civilized decent discussion. I understand the point you are trying to make, but it doesnt help nor ARE YOUR CAPS appreciated.
Yes I expect more of a game that I pay $15 a month for. One thing that attracts me about a game is a monthly fee. I expect it will be better maintained, have fewer issues, higher fan base... and come on. Do I have to explain this? I played WOW for a long time. I like monthly fee and I have higher than normal expectations of games that cost a monthly fee.

Im so sick of playing Dragon Knights Online that it pisses me off every single time im in Cyrodiil. It takes an entire group to take one down, and hes still going to kill at least one person before he dies.
I refuse to reroll.
Moral of the story, roll a DK if you plan on staying.
For me it is worth the time and the money, because it's fun. When it stops being fun, I'll quit play ESO. Everybody has to decide by themselves if it is worth to play that game or not. I do not even care about endgame yet, because there is a ton of other stuff to see and to do before I even consider any endgame. Endgame obviously implies the content at the end of a game, i.e. just before you have seen and done everything else, so just before you're gonna quit. I do not see any reason for me to quit ESO all too soon yet. The word "dumping" in topic's title shows clearly how biased the OP wanted this thread to be. Not working spells and bugs. Ya ya. QQ harder, little one. Not like weekly patches do not tell us that they are continuously working hard to improve the game. Tell me one definite, game breaking bug they introduced by patching something. I'd bet, you can't!

I think you read it in a different tone. I didnt mean to come off like that. I agree I should decide if the game is fun, but I am all about endgame gearing and pvp. So it will be a while until I can decide.
Well if the enemy npc health bars bug hasnt been fixed yet, That's one. I have yet to test my luck with a dungeon yet.
As a NB, my cloak has never worked. Not sure when that was "patched." Not sure if that qualifies as game breaking. Definitely build breaking.
(could you research the origin of "QQ". You might be using it incorrectly. No offense, just pet peeve. I hate seeing it.)
